Have you thought about making art and print's under your own name. Artists made spot paintings long before Hirst decided to plagiarise what they did.
You could no doubt run up some good sales of your own version of spot print's or print's depicting patterns lines circles squares etc etc and sign them with your own name.
Some people say, it's wrong to exploit ones past antics in order to gain publicity or notoriety. There again, those people can be hypocrit's at times.

I doubt he'd be as impressed as you appear to be with yourself.
I'm also confused as to why the business's that advertise on this site aren't being more vocal on wanting your account removed, it doesn't reflect well at all...to put it mildly. You aren't doing anybody any favours here particularly anyone that owns authentic Hirst works or plans to in the future.

But it is an acceptable risk galleries will take right now because it's so difficult to be 100% sure. If there is anything they could do to highlight obvious forgeries, I'm sure they would. No one wants to invest in something that could be proven valueless down the line. |
