Money to burn? Then why not stay at the New York W Hotel, a mere $4538.70 per night for one of the Extreme Wow Suites.

Back in 88-89 I stayed in a top floor room called the Ghoul Room and it was completely black (floor walls and ceiling)...mental, but loved the place. I notice your from the LES, spent time down there on Rutgers Street with a DJ/artist called Snipe. Great memories and a great city.

Very true my man. This really is a great city. Fucking wild at times! But what an experience! Have you been to the Carlton Arms since your stay in 89? I mention room 5b because a certain artist who shall remain anonymous did some interior decorating there in 99. It's pretty awesome!

That was the last time for me. The city still had an edge to it and I had such an incredible time that I knew it would never be the same. One day though. I did send a couple of girlfriends to the Carlton a few years back and they freaked and left without staying. But I did think that more forum members would be into it to be honest.

Visit NEW YORK ๐บ๐ฒ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Filipino Box Spring Hog on Nov 11, 2008 15:36:21 GMT 1, Just an idea but, try to see if someone will swap your apartment/house with theirs for that time period. You're in France, right Jef? I'd imagine some swanky NewYorker would be willing to do a swap with you - their place for yours. Craigslist is a good place to look and place an ad.
