But what I object to is the fact that Pejac charges you to enter his lotteries. Why? Banksy and Damien Hirst etc. etc. let you enter their lotteries for free.

I bought some, but now Iโm fed up of these ( even the quality of the postcards are not so perfect ) : they go in a box and then, what is happening ? Nothing.
By the past he sent them without these shipping fees and all was perfect. Were they not free at a moment ?
Maybe flippers of the postcards on eBay etc .. irritated him.
To finish : the print that I always loved in Pejac was Seppuku ! It was so cheap then, nobody bought them ( around 70/80 euros ) and you could easily find one on secondary market..
Pejac asked 300 for Weadow, I got one easily and I like it.
But Seppuku is so clever, the composition is extra, the subject too..

To summarise, itโs an average release from an hyped up artist. Verdict - must try harder.

Add this to it being over priced for a print (compared to other more established artists when they have releases) and that the lottery is questionable (as Iโm sure 60 wonโt be in the lottery), then people should be able to express their views. It just so happens that quite a few people have made negative comments on an art forum (probably for good reason). If the artist wants more positive comments then they can do something about it. It will sell out as people think they can make money out of him. To summarise, itโs an average release from an hyped up artist. Verdict - must try harder. |

People used to say the same about Adam Neate, Phlegm, Micallef etc etc. I dont see a justification of ever increasing prices for artists barely known outside these four walls.
