Today, on the 14th of December, Pejac is releasing his latest limited edition work. The artist has made use of the serigraphy printing technique to revisit an iconic work of his, first exhibited in London in 2016, entitled โNew Waveโ.
Through this scene, Pejac invites us to explore his dreamlike world, where the laws of physics are replaced by the poetic.
This is the first time Pejac has presented an edition in square format, measuring 103 x 103 cm.
Each of the 60 copies has been finished with touches of acrylic paint added by the artist, ensuring every print is unique. Another defining characteristic of this work is the addition of genuine silver leaf to certain areas of the print, bringing some of the magic of the sea, and the shimmering light on its surface, into our homes.
This serigraph print has been completed through a delicate production process, in which 17 individual screens have been overlaid to create the greatest possible depth of tone and texture.

Absolutely filthy thieves are at it again. The gall of them is simply shocking. I have always been under the assumption that lotteries like this, where you pay to enter, must be overseen by an independent party. Is anyone aware of if that is actually happening?

This forum needs to stop buying prints. They're all worthless copies of original art, but we've been duped into thinking they're worth something. These print houses have to resort to putting little squiggles and drops of paint to fool us into thinking they're "unique."
If all of the prints have little indistinguishable squiggles, then they're not really unique or special.

Plus I'm almost certain registered post from Spain doesnt cost โฌ80 for a postcard! Thats insane. Maybe he's passing on that huge margin to charity but if thats the case then he should be more transparent about it. I wont be bothering this time. Tired of having to jump through hoops to buy work now. Boring.
All seems a bit rushed to me, this one. Do you think he's tried to cash in on some recent auction successes?

You are right though. It should go to an independent adjudicator of some kind.
I think considering the current climate and how things are tight for many right now its asking a bit much.

Of course, it is a matter of taste, but please always keep in mind that none of the great artists sold for these prices print editions, it is pure FOMO.
Don't believe any auction results either, everyone is old enough and should know that 60% is fake.
If you like the motif you should buy it, if you don't have the money or think it's a great investment, don't buy it.

I can see a flooded market in coming weeks/months, maybe. Thats how fickle this stuff is. It could all back fire but his talents deserve a degree of success and he has made some very impressive pieces in the past. Just not this.
