Only sales with double price would be manipulated and not guenine sales.

A lot of people simply didn't buy as they thought there would be 000's sold which would mean the flippability was a risk. Now the edition sizes are out and they are decent editions, people can put a 'real' value on them. When a scooter print is going for ยฃ2k plus, it is simply obvious to me. Time will tell but i will be surprised if i am wrong. |

You think itโs fair to compare two works by two artists based on the fact that the they are the same size, format, and timed editions? The points I made are essential to understanding the poor performance of the Empresses.

But oh well it's ok, i probably would found better fitting pieces to hang (from invader, although more expensive and smaller size), and even if it optimistically x2, a ยฃ3-4k gain would be quite immaterial to most of the ppl buying this i suspect, so.. slightly annoyed  but life goes on

I keep hearing low edition numbers but they are huge numbers against most of his previous prints! Look at how his print market is doing right now (not very well and I own a fair few). 1.) Virtues did v well because they are wall/family friendly images
2.) Empresses were pretty nasty with red glitter all over your wall ( hence why they havenโt performed well).
3.) invader - we all have heard a million times whatโs wrong with these.
So buy if you like it, otherwise stop thinking how you can flip everything you buy

The criticisms have only helped keep production relatively low.
PS: As an old Invader fan these new productions (Heni, books, cubes etc) can only increase my pride in owning some books and maps from the early periods. Those remain truly exclusive things

I liked them but not enough to hang on my walls. I like his prints with embossing.I didnโt think theyโd be worth buying to resell as theyโll cost a lot to ship at that size but thatโs why they say โBuy what you like!โ ๐คทโโ๏ธ Hopefully some resellers get burnt and end up having to sell at cost and those who passed will get a second chance if they want.

If I was offered an Invader 3D sculpture or one of these Heni prints and I didn't know the price of each, I would pick the sculpture. I still think the 3D Little Big Space were sold ridiculously cheaply. I would have been happy to pay 3 times the amount. Definitely the bargain of 2022.

I feel like if the Heni Invader Rubikcubiam went head to head with the Musart 3D vinyl Invader and the prices were equal, or didnโt know the price, few people would pick a vinyl unsigned figure vs a large 100 cm by 100 cm format print/photo attached to aluminum and signed on back. The vinyl figure was also a huge edition size of 5000 for $500 vs. this which was $3k for a signed edition size between 400 to 800 depending on image. |

The musart piece is a two-bob plastic figurine and there is 5000 of them - essentially toys to appeal to the Kaws crowd. The size of the aluminium Heni prints on a wall and the fact they are regarded as signed and numbered means they will grow far more in value that the sculpture in terms of secondary market. |
