But things are changing and new buyers with more money are interested in works by Invader. Not puriste like you. Very small piรจces are not very easy to display, these things are more show off : big and shinny. Thatโs why they will be far more valuable than old piรจces in a foreseable future. I do not say it is a good thing, but thatโs my conviction

Virtues are a completely different in every way. Paints on a canvas opposed to photoshopped butterflies. This is much closer in comparison insofar as supplier, timed, size, sheen, and signature except the Hirst getting a bonus glitter and NFT capability - which at the time, crypto was hot and economy was in better shape. "Everything Hirst touches is gold" was another comment in that thread. I personally believe the Invaders are way more attractive but to say these are guaranteed to rise based on market history is not fact.
Statistics never lie however liars use statistics.

Just received mine today, I think they are beautiful and canโt wait to have them on my walls. Iโm not an Invader expert at all (or more generally an art expert), but have been considering pulling the trigger on something by Invader for several years, and this seemed to be the closest to what I was looking for on many aspects. A piece of this size for that price just seemed too good to pass, despite being less exclusive that his works on paper.
I will look the price evolution from afar but wonโt be selling anytime soon whatever the price may be.

Just received the first one I bought : it is beautifully made with bright and clear image. It is not shinny at all, it like if it were covered with regular glass so yes, hard to display un front of a window. Here you can see it in a room with two big windows on the side and it is totally fine. I am very happy of it. Now lents wait for country life, my favorite

But my opinion is that new money like big recognizable things, like these. Quiet not a disruptive opinion but perhaps I am wrong. Anyway, I buy to keep but over the time it is important to know that you ll be able to sell to buy new works, and this trend is my guarantee in that perspective |

For marylin to be 6k what would Oh Alright have to be. I also think it will take more like 3 to 5 years for all the resale inventory to wash through and for the majority of these to be in collections. I base that on nothing but my gut feel and my purchases of previous Heni editions.
That said, time will tell, with the Hirsts we have both fact patterns playing out. Blossoms good, fruitful is maybe break even after fees. So with this release it is entirely possible one or two take off and 1 or 2 don't.
I peg these as an entry point for new collectors, so I expect there to be demand, but as you say the entire market would have to lift dramatically for you to get paid for these something more than a reasonable markup for your time. But imo, >90% for the target market of this type of piece had put an order as they should have, and maybe 10% were either on the fence or forgot to put in, or are now more constructive that the final edition number werent "too high", and might be tempted to buy secondary. But they would only do it at a moderate premium. I'd be surprised someone pay way over msrp, maybe in a couple of years though. Now my focus is figuring out where to hang it |

You have to buy it, itโs not included.
If you find a 80 cm one it would be the best. I had to buy a 45 cm one, I found no bigger one, but itโs more than enough for the weight

For those who care, too hook it up, i used 2x "3M claws drywall picture hangers", they are meant to hold 20kg each, so 40kg total leave a good safety margin. They "slot" right in, with the aluminium frame
