I'm always sceptical about including framing as part of the order but I think AA do a good job from what I've seen. My regular framer is on a 6-week turnaround at the mo. ๐
Good news is, it's arriving on Weds so at least I'll get to have a look at it soon. I got in on tier 2.

I doubt any of us can do similar or better for the extra cost. I hope I am happy when mine comes. I ordered the 626-750 because I thought the final drop was a bit overpriced and the bodies kind of stack on each other and lose their definition. I am now thinking I should have gotten the final drop as I am worried that the chasm will not be defined enough. I hope mine is more towards 750 than 626. I think the triptych will be fabulous if you have the wall space. |

The various stages will look amazing next to each other. Couldnโt justify the price tag of the later ones at the time but regret it now.

Curious if editions #1 & #1000 will be part of the public release or if they will be kept by the artist or AA.

Last update showed it was due to be delivered tomorrow, but obviously was coming a day early. Despite frantic trying to get it redelivered today, I now have to wait until tomorrow. Aarghhh! Hopefully others may get theirs today then.

The interior packaging is such that it should probably only be handled only prior to framing.

Will have a proper look tomorrow. Must invest in an electric screwdriver.
(Havenโt taken the tissue paper off yet and probably wonโt until it goes for framing.)

Does that mean that the process is like this:
1. The background is silkscreened in 6 colours. Is that the texture/ structure of the background?
2. Then the figures are then added via "UV pigment" print.
3. As a finishing step, one of the figures is gilt.
"UV pigment print on a 6-colour silkscreen printed background 410gsm Somerset Tub-sized Radiant white 100% cotton paper, finished with hand-applied 24ct gold leaf and ink details."
