Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by yoss on Nov 1, 2024 17:52:07 GMT 1, I had mine delivered this afternoon….looks like someone put their foot or feet on the packaging. However, everything seems intact on the inside. Holy cow!!! I might not have accepted that package in the state it is in!! ha ha
I thought Avant Arte said they were packaged in crates...maybe not. Congrats though on the print being ok inside and for actually grabbing one!!! Let's see your gold dude/dudette!!!

Congrats though on the print being ok inside and for actually grabbing one!!! Let's see your gold dude/dudette!!! When I first saw the damage, I checked that it hadn’t punctured all the way through. It hadn’t, thank god! The actual frame is wood but the top and underside cover are circa 3-5mm thick cardboard and screwed on as you can see. Electric screwdriver came in handy with 16 screws.
The second print arrived today also had a small amount of transit damage, although not as bad as shown. Long day at work today so opening it tomorrow. Next one arrives Monday.
I was fortunate to win 4 prints so I’m going to post pics when they have all arrived.

Not sure how many people will adhere to this though - just meine opinion.

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by cemltz on Nov 2, 2024 15:29:08 GMT 1, So, here are pics of the first 2 which arrived. Are those a 2/3 and a 5/6?
I think that the 5/6 might be the sweet spot for a standalone piece. Just starting to see the development of the crevice...
I forget, which ones did we get in the Triptych? 1, 4 and 8?

Updated: 2 & 6. You’re right, they would appear to be the start of the sweet spot and that’s why I wanted to put them side-by-side to see where the crevice starts to form. Triptych was 1,4 & 8 as you say.

it will be interesting to see how these fair will lower numbers result in lower values or will it be irrelevant based on buyers preference of image

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by ck1 on Nov 7, 2024 2:36:27 GMT 1, hi all, i've got 2x tier3, so looking to swap one for another tier! How were you expecting this to work? They were more expensive as the tiers increased and most only got 1. Would you swap for a lower tier? Swap up with cash? I may want a second would you just sell for cost?

Out of curiosity do you see higher tiers as being more valuable - or do you make the same comparison to tiered pricing on a standard drop. That those who got the early numbers got a discount?

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by pamplemousse on Nov 7, 2024 10:15:49 GMT 1, I still can't decide on what value these actually have throughout the 'tiers'.
If the image was a constant i.e exactly the same number of people, then it simply is a tiered system on a sliding scale of demand vs size of one's pocket. The more expensive the print (higher the tier) the more chance you are of getting one. Only in this example the image becomes more complete also.
However, the cost and process of each print for AA is exactly the same - Ctrl + P.
As for Pejac he was making the piece anyway and therefore having it photographed after 3 characters were added still involved the exact same amount of work / processes for each piece + HF details. It was incremental!
So in some respects it would be impossible to have edition number 673 without 142 and now the editions have been allocated I think they are all of equal value. It's just subjective whether a more fuller image is worth, more.
A Shrigley at tier 1 or tier 3 is the same value on the secondary market.

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by Londown 01 on Nov 7, 2024 10:42:39 GMT 1, That those who got the early numbers got a discount? Definitely. Lower numbers were surely below market value. Not sure where all of these will end of up price wise: supply and demand will take care of that. Really difficult to project I think, because they're all unique but then there is also 1000 of these unique prints ...

Pejac & Avant Arte - A new print series, by ck1 on Nov 7, 2024 10:44:33 GMT 1, As in all things these are only worth what someone would pay. As a buyer I would not pay the same for the image with 3 figures as I would for 1000. What it costs to print has never been factored into these images or others so your arguments fall pretty flat to me. I paid more for a tier 7 print not because I couldn’t get an earlier print but because I wanted a better defined image. I do not expect the different tiers to price the same on secondary.
