The British Museum reduced them all to ยฃ1.99 on the last weekend of the exhibition...so I 'invested' in two  ยฃ1.99 and no limit to how many you could buy if I recall, I felt a bit cheeky buying a tenners worth ๐ 
Had I have known how suitable they were to use as beermats (apart from the fading and staining) I would have invested in a few more.

I ended up framing all 5 together to make it look like a โthickerโ Peckham rock.

All has been said about the prices paid for the shoes, Peckham rock, mural greeting card etc. Say what you want about it but the Laz connection/provenance works.
Other things that stood out for me:
- 2 GWB prints sold for $104k and 52k respectively in the same auction. Same print, double the price paid for the one with the POW stamp.
- Prints in general sold for similar or higher prices than the respective unsigned print with PC COA in other recent auction.
- The stencils fetched fair prices imo.
- The sketches were undervalued imo. These rarely (ever?) come up for sale and most went for less than the prints. Together with the stencils they were by far the best part of the auction.
- Lot 145 - Damien Hirst purchase report has since had the photo of the actual item removed from the websiteโฆ
Julienโs mostly sells sports and pop culture memorabilia so this auction likely opened the doors to a set of buyers who are new to the Banksy market and some of who might not even know what a PC COA is. Donโt think itโs a bad thing for the B market if more non traditional auction houses get involved. It will be interesting to see how these Laz prints do if/when they end up in any other auction one day. My guess is not great.

It had a great story and all the additions including the placement of the banksy stamp on the middle finger made it really unique. Would have loved to purchase this from POW back in the day. But not from Laz.

Eg: The Severnshed catalogue with someone's scribble on sold but the untouched one didn't. Now't so queer as folk I suppose.

I bought the Rivington street flyer to go alongside my stencil.
Iโd been after one for ages and the only one I have found for sale in that time is for ยฃ1.5k more than I got this one for, so Iโm kinda ok with it.

I purchased the lot of photocopied sketches. I appreciate they don't have any real value (and I could have just printed some of his drawings from google myself) - but I've always admired B's sketches and plan on getting them all framed individually to stick in a few small spots around the place. Plus the slightly battered paper makes them more interesting.

These are quite nice. Wouldnโt want them on my wall for various reasons ( if I was able to buy them in the first place ๐) but I can see why one would. They are quite nice and tell a little story together.
