Silky, I may be incorrect, but my understanding has always been that you gave a shit about the art and scene at large. I still think that's definitly the case and that overall you do a superb job of running one of the best forums on the net, but I find it very difficult to understand your easygoing view on a practice that so many artists and galleries have spoken out to condemn. People flipping prints on ebay is certainly beyond your control, but when they come on here offering up prints they haven't even received yet with still drying ink, they're taking the piss out of the integrity of YOUR forum and all its' members imo. I don't see what's difficult to understand in that. The intentions of your members seem unimportant, just so long as you have as many members as possible. That's a real shame for the forum and the scene imo, because there's enough genuine demand without the parasitical gits claiming that they're doing the artists a favour - they'd sell out anyway, but people who want the art wouldn't have to pay 2/3/4 times the price to buy it. You can choose to discourage flipping through the forum, but you don't and through your lack of action it's actually being encouraged. It only creates ill feeling and keeps the more unscrupulous members keen imo.

Stuey's the kind of member Silky's happy to have around here. No morals, only comes online to make believe people listen to him and wind others up and absolutely zero respect for anyone in the forum or the community at all. He insults artists openly where there is no need at all for it and makes lots of inane and pointless comments. But he never complains to Silky about the parasites (because he's a f**king leech himself), so he must be alright. He's admitted in this forum what he thinks of graffiti and why he goes to shows, yet he's still welcomed with open arms. Damned right that should be a problem for Silky, but it isn't, because Stuey's entitled to flip pricelists and cards here, as they're his! Laz have banned him and presumably he's on some kind of list at POW too, but he's good enough for here. My very first rant at Silky in the public forum. I would have thought that anyone who's spent a few months or more reading these boards, let alone contributing, would have come across a Morons print or have read up on Adam Neate's philosophy over the past 10 years (not just the past 2 months!) or at least have some semblance support for the concept of free art and/or the idea of questioning what art is and where it's true value lies. If not, keep your head up your arse and keep refering to graffiti as "squiggly lines" in threads full of excuisite imagery, it's fine by me, but please don't attempt to influence any free-thinking artists and where they post their work (for sale or otherwise). It is the £50 thread! If it's under £50, that is one of the places the forum administrators have made available to post it. If you take issue with that, please stop posting so and talk to admin to find out whether you're complaint of forum usage is valid, or make a suggestion. If you don't want to look at art you don't like, why log into a forum made up of other peoples' opinions, recommendations, likes and dislikes? That's what a forum is. Before you try throwing it back at me as you have previously, be prepared to back up what you type for once, rather than being too lazy and throwing empty accusations, as this is partly what caused my great contempt for you in the first place. You made statements about me and my posts, without being able to back them up, because your statements were untrue and unfounded in fact. I'm not a bully Stuey and have never had issues interacting with other members here properly before your good self, I challenge you to prove otherwise (the only reason I still have these poxy stars is because I feel that deleting my post history would appear as if I'm hiding something). I simply dislike most of what you have to say, not necessarily because I disagree, but the way you present your views just annoys me and your views themselves more often than not seem insincere and undermined by your other posts.

I stand by my statement that you offer NOTHING positive to this place and that your attitude stinks. I have never found any member whose posts as inane and wasteful as I find yours. I have received numerous PMs from people I've never interacted with previously, who feel similarly towards you, purely because I've spoken my mind to you in threads and they congratulated me and wanted to agree without further inflaming things. My sincere advice is that you think about the validity of what you type in here, as it becomes public record, so when you later contradict it, you should expect others to take note, whether they comment/react or not. Refering to an artist as "being s**t" and then commenting on his work "at its' best" makes you look a little odd or foolish to say the least, in a similar way to how you chose to disrespect graffiti by refering to non-stencil forms of it as "squiggly lines," in a thread where Remi Rough and Replete were posting some classic f**king street art and also, when you asked "is it just me that thinks she's overrated" (or something very very similar in wording) of Lucy McLauchlan and a few days later post a somewhat strange comment about her AP of THE VERY SAME IMAGE AS THE OTHER THREAD HAD BEEN BASED ON. Stuey, get a grip! These are onlya few points based on what I remember of the past couple of weeks and I've had you on ignore for the majority of that time!
