I wonder why there are still some left though. . .
you just explained the reason and also if this stuttered release is a tactic then its a good one, all the panic earlier on and now you can just stroll in and buy, papermonster is kinda similiar

No its 17.5 for a print. 5% for an original piece only.
Still arguing with customs that vanity fight is 'technically' an original because of the handfinishing and that it is a limited edition rather than edition but they're not having it.

Yeah mine was too. Just got unlucky. Think they just decided to do a random check. They asked for my paypal receipt. Was tempted to make up a false invoice but its just not worth it as i'm sure they knew the real value and the fine if you get found out is huge. Got stuff before and its gone through okay. Othertimes not.

I just shipped a load of prints to China and the last time i did that I got burnt paying customs as I declared a lower value. Nuts.

i've liked Faile for sometime and have picked up 4 or 5 prints from them as well as a few of the POW ones, but the only plus i see to this is that my "challenger" and "faile dog" prints are now going for at least 5x what i paid for them. and these are just the additional editions that they claimed they were gonna sell 2 years ago!!! crazy....

This will be my fourth faile, was not fan at first but they grow on you for sure.
I agree with most that its alot of money for a high edition (not that high) and they do need some new stuff to mix it up a bit .

So you will see the same faile themes running through different releases and different editions, although there are always difference between each release. The challenger piece was always going to be released in 4 stages of roughly 25 so it is no surprise to see it. I'm slightly surprised there is no shimmering red butterfly girl release as there are supposed to be a number more of those released.
If the same images are rehashed and reworked as prints it doesn't really matter because the edition sizes of most of these prints are tiny. Thus there are a different styles of bunny girl prints released by faile but in total probably less than a total of 200 faile NY bunny girl prints in circulation....
To my mind there are some really exceptional looking faile prints in this release. Nearly all of them are large pieces as well which makes it even better. You just know that they will look superb in the flesh. I've entered the lottery for a few bits. Fingers crossed.

I shall definitely be getting myself in the auction for a few bits though and I think there's some not bad value pieces in there.
