I am in the process of refurbing a bar, and have a 3m x 7m wall for an image.
Unfortunately, following a meeting with the local constabulary this afternoon, my initial idea of the snorting copper image has been stopped. Although, I am allowed to put up whatever I like without breaking any laws, it was suggested that things may become difficult for me with such a provocative image.
As I could do without the grief, I feel the girl with teddy bear would make a great alternative.

I've got a Nikon D70 and it takes 6 megapixel images (about A4 at 300dpi), if you take a look in the Get Your Banksy's Out thread page 8 you'll see an image of graffiti I photographed in Barcelona, I blew it up slightly in photoshop, and the largest it would print out was 1500mm X 950mm, so unless you don't mind it going "pixeled" and printing coursely (which won't matter if you're far away) you're not going to get it much bigger than that I'm afraid.

where are you based ? why don't you just commission someone to do something original.

by the sound of things this will not be achievable, as my printer had already informed me.
i can get a stock photo from alamy, which can be blown up to the correct size.
the snorting cop would have looked fantastic, but as I am in the process of changing the club name from sugar to smack, I think there would be too much heat.

Probably because it is essentially a poster as opposed to a print. Its not numbered or signed.
No doubt it has a value of sorts as it will get rarer and rarer.

Yeah, I like it too and think it would make a great print. I have one waiting to be framed as well. It's a shame the paper is so thin as it can crease really easily.

When the show just opened, people bought it for as much as £80. Things have certainly cooled down a bit, and listings that went for about £50 have gone unsold... thus, cheaper listings are starting to appear.
It's quite a smart image, and very fitting with his show in LA, with the pregnant Britney Spears and all The poster sold only on the last day of the show, so I guess in a way it's a bit 'rare'... people who went to the show the first two days would have missed it. The quality is quite shoddy however, it's nowhere as thick as the Soup Can posters. Feels exactly as though it's made of the same material as the pages of a magazine. There probably isn't much mention on this board because it's not a print, and will probably never be worth as much. It's more of a collector's memorabilia type thing, like the show postcards and stickers, etc.
