I agree with you, though, Banksy is quite unknown here in the States. I think his style is not serious enough to be taken seriously by the established art community, by which I mean his work doesn't loudly proclaim "This is Serious Art." I also agree that he'll be the flavor du jour of the hipster cowd for a minute or two. But maybe, just maybe, he'll find his niche here and make a real, lasting impact.

There have been many obsverations on here and the eBay forum stating that Banksy is 'worldwide' now... this is based on 2 or 3 people in the US selling prints on eBay.
i personally feel it will be hard for Banksy to crack the US - they won't like the fact he wants to hide in the shadows and not have his face plastered over mag covers. it's against the US way of thinking re. 'fame' and art.
he'll remain underground both here and the US for many years to come in my opinion.

Not after the private opening last night. I got there just as it was ending  It was packed and the likes of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Jude Law, and tons others made it and bought almost all the canvases for sale.

Firstly - Please do NOT phone POW asking about when the next print will come out, and about Santa's Ghetto Thank You 
Here goes  The next Banksy print being released is not yet ready. They are very sorry for the delay, but they want every piece to be perfect ;D and for Banksy to be happy and give them the OK
They will try to get all of the LA prints released before Christmas but this might not be possible. They will not be planning to sell any of the Banksy LA prints at a Santa's Ghetto as they want everyone around the world to have a fair chance of getting one. The prints will only be released online! and could be added to the website at any time! Day or Night, so people in America, Australia & The UK have a chance of getting at least one of the prints.
Santa's Ghetto - POW are still trying to track down a shop to hold the Santa's Ghetto this year. They are currently looking in the Soho area of London, but if they still cant find anywhere other towns are not ruled out.
The Applause print could be priced a bit higher than the other print due to its size, but no final decision has been made.
POW prices - The LA Print prices have been kept at a rate that should be within reach of most people, and they are kean for people that have supported Banksy from many years are not priced out of the market.

nah, as I said the other day  the email will be sent out at the same time as the prints are added to the site, not before
This is being done to try and ease the pressure on the website and ordering system. If they said it would be a certain time on a certain day, the website could go into meltdown
