When the Wii was launched I knew Toys R US were getting a healthy shipment in. I popped along early morning, maybe 6am only to find hardly any queue. What had happened is rather than make folks queue all night in the cold, the staff handed tickets so folks were able to go home and pick up the console anytime that day. Brilliant, this not only saved those queuing from catching hypothermia but it saved me wasting my time.
Simple yet effective.

Others have said that Laz and co are t**ts, now I genuinely believe that they are just thick as s**t.
In any line of business, if you have a product to sell through an intermediary, then you take a certain amount of responsibility for how your product is sold - especially when there is only a single primary dealer.

I Spoke to lots who had flown in for just one night and were leaving that night or first thing wes. Only got one myself as I had an inkling that they would do this, so stayed an extra day. I also thanked some fat fuk from laz on the way out for screwing up my (wednes)day by having to come back when I should have been hooning round in my rental car.
Holly is a complete cow (and I know you read this) and rather stuck up- with the exception of when she isnt trying to stick her tongue up sharon osbornes arse (yes we saw you) when she is nice as pie.
Doesnt care whatsoever, and from speaking to Dora, she clearly doesnt give a crap either...much like most of the Laz staff.

Do you know the ONE thing Laz will be gutted about, It will be the fat t**t and his family walking with 20 prints, and not because the t**t stopped loads in the Q getting their prints, it will be because he HATES with a passion someone else making a quick buck when it aint him!!!!! AMEN.
He hates people who make money off his back. What like these new online galleries what buy up stock and then set up a business to make money off other peoples hard work. Transactions for that show take a lot of time because people have to give their numbers and the college staff have to check to see if that postcard is available etc but still it all runs very smoothly indeed.
A member of the RCA staff walks down the line about an hour before the sale opens handing out numbered tickets to genuine people in the queue. If you don't have your ticket you don't get in. The security people walk up and down the line making sure that no-one barges in. There was a fight one year but the college called the police immediately. Those people fighting were not certainly not taken to the front of the queue.
They hand out tea and coffee to people as they come through the doors.

Sure, I'mn sure you're being honest. But I just don't want to claim to know something that hasn't be said to me directly. So like I said, if that really is true - no doubting you personally - it's really really awful. I haven't dealt with Laz for sales no, and if that's right about this Hop Along Holly then I shalln't ever want to.

I hear she got Jack Osbourne a set of prints also in front of people on the preview when everyone else had to come back the next day, I'll get that confirmed tough.. she also told a friend of mine who is a friend of Antony 'WILL YOU STOP FOLLOWING ME AROUND'. He only wanted to buy a 30k original for himself and get her attention. He came away empty handed and highly embarrassed and amazed that his friend is being represented by people with such lack of respect for their own clientele. How they get away with it I'll never know. The artists need to listen to this also and have a say.

So neither Laz nor Micallef had anything to do with, know anything about, or take any responsibility for, the 'release' of the Laz Micallef prints. Oh right, thats OK then. sorry we mentioned it. 
just dug out the mail to re-read as i knew there was something about micallef in it...here's what the right honourable holly had to say to end her mail (mate had said she'd be mailing Micallef direct to complain): "tell Micallef whatever you like. he also has nothing to do with this and I'm sure would be just as amazed as I am." So neither Laz nor Micallef had anything to do with, know anything about, or take any responsibility for, the 'release' of the Laz Micallef prints. Oh right, thats OK then. sorry we mentioned it. |

quick point, and i am a father so i don't be to harsh on me but i'd just love to know of any scenario where you'd have to queue all night/day to ensure you child's mortality?
