What is so amazing about that photo is that the Olsen Twins are worth $1 billion US according to Forbes. Micallef could've had their logo on his work and got them to pose in front of it.

They didn't leave them out. They saw the build up start to take shape and at about 8pm made a spot decision to chuck out 3 crates for those waiting, along with a bottle opener and some binliners (very responsible!) Thought it was a nice gesture. Lets be honest, I don't think many people expected such a large amount of people to queue up overnight.

To everyone else, great valid points, which, lucky for you, have negated the thesis I was all set to type out this morning.
This whole things has been a nightmare and completely deflected from the art on show, I wonder if Micallef is even aware of this, or the brown nosers at Laz have shielded him from it all.
I won't purchase from Laz, the 50 Thread has shown that there are some great artists, established and emerging who are willing and able to give a little back to us at a sniff of the cost. Thats where I'll be focusing my attentions.
