LAZ apology shocker?, by 7eny on Sept 21, 2007 17:48:00 GMT 1, speaking of Banksy, I'm sure I read some where that the LA prints might be the last one's POW release, however, after hearing about the fiasco at LAZ i doubt any future prints will be sold through LAZ in the same way the Micallef's were, so maybe this will have some fall out for LAZ?

LAZ apology shocker?, by lesbianwednesdays on Sept 21, 2007 17:49:19 GMT 1, just dug out the mail to re-read as i knew there was something about micallef in it...here's what the right honourable holly had to say to end her mail (mate had said she'd be mailing Micallef direct to complain): "tell Micallef whatever you like. he also has nothing to do with this and I'm sure would be just as amazed as I am." So neither Laz nor Micallef had anything to do with, know anything about, or take any responsibility for, the 'release' of the Laz Micallef prints. Oh right, thats OK then. sorry we mentioned it. 
it's an easy mistake to make, don't be too hard on yourself

It's a shit lob and from previous experience takes ages to calm down. However, it is a real shame that all the controversy has diluted the respect that Micallef's art deserves. The work produced for the LA show looks superb and would love to read some more of the positive accounts from this show.

I was gutted that you could only purchase the prints from Laz personally, to do so would've meant losing a days pay and splashing out way too much for a train ticket - only to be dissappointed by the sound of things. Those of you that queued for nothing - you have my heartfelt sympathies
Sh*t like this just makes my p*ss boil, so I don't think I'll give Mr Laz any of the money I've earned from working down the pit and breading whippets
