NEW FAILE!, by Deleted on Jun 17, 2009 18:05:30 GMT 1, yeah but priced at 400 they'd be snapped up and on the bay before you got a chance - i think they're wayyyy too much but the only logic i could think for buying at this price would be to keep and not sell on (as you wont make a profit) - I'm going to wait for them to appear on the bay (as they'll be cheaper there) - try and work out that garbled logic if u can

NEW FAILE!, by monkeyballs on Jun 17, 2009 18:07:04 GMT 1, It makes sense, just disappointing that its now priced to ensure that you have to sell a bollock to own a faile you like the look of, would prefer fastest finger and if I miss, I miss.

NEW FAILE!, by Deleted on Jun 17, 2009 18:09:45 GMT 1, Faile previously always priced according to the market, slowly raising as their stock rose, unfortunately they haven't accounted for their stock falling in recent times - like everyone else in this scene

NEW FAILE!, by sand on Jun 17, 2009 18:17:35 GMT 1, have to agree with everybody else - the prints are just too expensive for editions of 20.
would love 'the great leap'...but not for $2800.

NEW FAILE!, by snausages on Jun 17, 2009 18:22:51 GMT 1, The price, it's kind of fair I guess. But be nice to see those prints priced at about $2000. They'd still make $40,000 each print set and they wouldn't languish like they might now?
I know everyone says now at least the fans can buy it and put it on their wall instead of the flippers getting them. But even us fans like to save a little money now and then. Not slagging on Faile but for about $3000 I'd rather save that money and put it towards an original by Faile or any number of other artists, unless I really really loved the image.
Surprised no one has mentioned these bad boys yet: Sothebys browse.sothebys.com/?q=Faile
I'm in the middle of buying something else now or else I would be all over the smaller one.

NEW FAILE!, by melmoth on Jun 17, 2009 18:23:21 GMT 1, All the 'Originals' have gone from the site now. They posted the original of 'The Great Leap' just before they all vanished.
Now apparently sold:
