NEW FAILE!, by volvic on Jun 18, 2009 0:19:34 GMT 1, to be honest, really not feeling the colors at all, would prefer an old school b+w anyday, especially as that monster sold for 1100 quid on the bay 2 days ago which i think is nicer than all three

NEW FAILE!, by fielder on Jun 18, 2009 8:14:26 GMT 1, I would not be happy if I'd bought a print yesterday only to find out they're $500 cheaper today, unless they're refunding those who bought early.

Sure no one would. But knowing Faile, one can be sure what's going to happen. Their customer service is one of the best.

NEW FAILE!, by graffalo on Jun 18, 2009 10:07:34 GMT 1, I think that at these prices I will pass but it is nice to have the time to make up your mind. I guess if they sell out (even if not instantly) the pricing will have been right.
The prices do seem high now but I wonder if in a few years time we will reminisce about when you could just go onto the faile site at your leisure and pick up a faile print for a couple of grand.

I reminisce about going on the faile site & having the choice of 30 prints for $100 each. The August 07 release really pushed the limits of affordability, but since then I think the quality has gone down & the prices have gone ridiculous.

I have seen everything available in the last few hours. They need to get real if they want to sell them, shame on the pricing, as I do like one of the prints

NEW FAILE!, by silvermyn on Jun 18, 2009 11:48:09 GMT 1, Personally, I think the images are going to stuggle at those prices.
If the originals were of BG, I'd say they had a decent chance of making the $8K but this native American themed work does not afford itself to the interiors of most modern homes IMO.

Unique 'original' 1/1 colourway.
I would rather buy a nice faile box than a paper original!
I wonder how long this release will take to sell out...anyone made a purchase?!

Agree with that...but perhaps the edition sizes of the prints could have come down?
Instead of an edition of 20...how about an edition of 8 for $2300....
