A Most Wanted Man - Philip Seymour Hoffman is outstanding in this... incredibly well scripted (based on a John Le Carre book) and put together thriller.
Before I go to Sleep - Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth in a non-Hollywood thriller that keeps the tension high, very Hitchcockian

Just watched 'Frank' really good film.
I can't describe the film any better than Mark Kermode, who said something along the lines of "a mix of Frank Sidebottom and Captain Beefheart recording Troutmask replica".

Popped in to see '71' afterwards and loved it - strong British movieโฆ well shot and really well directed and handled. Zero punches pulled!
Got to love an afternoon at the movies.
It's research, by the wayโฆ before you ask

Also Starred Up, yeah.... will add my backing to that. Stunning performances all round.
