I remember my first event like it was yesterday, spiral tribe on the outskirts of Winchester.I must have been 14/15 went with my older bro and his mates.Police road block about 3? miles from the venue, various 'vendors' jumping out of hedgerows en route to the venue with scarfs made of out of acid tabs.
I was hooked on the scene from that day onwards, Nights at Astoria,Dreamscape,Fantazia,Universe,Interdance,Bar Rumba mid week nights with Fabio, Favourite nights ever were probably Metalheadz at the Bluenote on sundays? and on High Holborn Saturday nights, forgotton waaaaaaaay too much
Got a solid 2000+ records from back in the day,hmmmm to continue decorating over the weekend or setting up some decks and time for some nostalgia.Possibly the best period of my life (with the exception of having children)

Amazing how the seratonin levels still jangle when these old tunes kick in. Really was a special time. For a while we were all in on that little secret and was a mighty force for unification.
Pivotal moment for me. Orange at The Rocket on the Holloway Rd, knocking some gurt big football hooligan's drink (water probably!!) out his hand and thinking 'fuuuuck, I'm gonna get my head kicked in' and him just breaking this big grin and giving me a sweaty hug...

WOW.I was at all those places .Limelight on a friday night in the converted church.Boys own parties.The party at Eat Grinstead springs to mind.I remeber being somewhere with someone who i wont mention names but he was One of the main boys of the Legendary ICF of West Ham rolling about the floor like a pussy cat LOL
