Whilst there are of course flippers in that queue there are lots of genuine fans and it would totally wrong to deprive them of the chance to enter the POW lottery.

it seems the obvious thing to do, i don't know any of the guys at POW, but Dora seems cool and always replies to my emails, and i have avoided slaging them off in the past, but I think its their sense of humour, and they are probably just having a laugh at us, they will sell the print what ever, when ever they release it.

Would have liked a PK although I'm guessing this will never be selling at cost on the bay....

Antony Micallef - Lazinc line, by simongoff on Sept 19, 2007 13:19:34 GMT 1, I got down there with my G/f at 4am and there were 80 people in front us us, around 7am over 100 in front  2 people got chucked out for q jumping, I had to leave at 10 to go to work, a fight just broke out with some guys just behind her, they let one of the guys involved in the fight into purchase what he wanted (alledgedly) she is about 10 from the front, I have to say it has and was a horrible experience trying to get these peices and something I wont be doing again.
I give up and will look for new artists to get into, I like these prints and am looking forward to getting them up but its just not fun anymore!!

I agree. I didn't goto laz as nothing took my fancy. I'm VERY pleased to have gotten a print this morning on pow, but the timing of the release was poor form from pow. there's no logical explanation for why they would choose that release time, given the importance of customer service in this game.
... but they may have planned it so that more people were getting micallefs (even if it wasn't their print of choice)

I actually think POW have done the right thing which is to put as many prints into as many different peoples hands rather than the same peoples hands.
Anyway those in the queue can pick up one of the POW prints on e bay and still be in profit after they have sold their Laz prints.

Given the nature of the prints being sold at LAZ, the fact that a fight broke out in the q is just brilliant irony. A time capture video of the q would have made an awesome conceptual piece imo.
