Damien Hirst Superstition Poster, by beejoir1 on Apr 18, 2007 19:10:39 GMT 1, I dont understand the controversy over this poster, especially why the people who say they didnt buy it.... even care enough to keep coming back to this thread to ridicule people who did. .. I got mine today, and I'm real happy with it. I bought the gold landscape. I will frame it and enjoy it. Never got the impression or even cared about its exclusivity and the price seemed pretty reasonable to me. Dont understand what the hubbub is all about.
Who cares about the poster, I'm more worried about this Spice Girls business!

In getting one out (the black one) I introduced a "ding" which is clearly visible in the flash of one of the photographs below but not so much in natural light. There were dings in some other posters - not put there by me.
The frames were the "cheap" gold ones I mentioned earlier. They are really Cheap. One of the four had a bashed corner which I've managed to straighten out, one only had protective film on one side of the perspex (but the uncovered side was well protected among the other 3 frames) and a third has a weak corner. Worth spending a bit more cash on the frames I would recommend.
The black poster almost acts like a mirror so it is difficult to photograph well. The missing print is the horizontal gold.
To get them on the wall I will need to rotate out three other prints I have. If they look better on the wall, I'll re-post images.
