Damien Hirst Superstition Poster, by budoukiba on Apr 12, 2007 20:27:12 GMT 1, I feel like a lot of folks have been trying to shoot holes in the joy of those who bought these signed Damien Hirst exhibition posters. There's no reason. Let's face it - they're beautiful litho posters printed on quality paper, designed by one of the most renown artists alive in the world today, personally signed by him, in a limited edition of 100 (or 50 for Superstition), and on top of it all, they're pretty darn cheap (relatively). There's a ton of Hirst fans out there who can't afford original works. These posters are clearly more than "just cheap posters" -- they're touched by the artist. This is also evidenced by the prices people are bidding for these currently on Ebay. Ain't nothin' negative about all that. Good for those who scored those babies.  There not limited.........

This is the email I received from Kate at Other Critieria
"Neither the signed Death of God nor the Superstition posters are a limited edition. If they had been, we would have made this clear on our site. We only had 100 of each Death of God poster and 50 Superstition posters available, but will hopefully have another quantity of signed Superstition posters available for purchase in the near future."

When we know the size of this further batch we can come to some estimation on what the "size" is of the signed edition.
For me the significance of these posters are, in this order : image; artist and lastly "exclusivity".

at the same time i would love to get hold of two signed landscape death of god posters to complete both mine and my brothers sets... we think they are fab!
so if anyone missed out or has changed their mind about the landscape one or ordered one for someone who now doesn't want it please pm me...

My theory: The site made the landcape version look a lot bigger than the portrait version, which is what made it more 'desirable' (Bigger size at the same price? No-brainer!). In actuality however, they're the same size, but it was not immediately apparent unless you read the listed dimensions

hope this helps some of you with questions on the superstition poster
By the way these posters are on very thick nice paper and are stunning in person. It will be expensive to frame, but very worth it

As its a unlimited poster they can go away and get some more signed whenever they sell out.
