for all my friends on the forum i got a lot of stickers and postcards for u as promised I keep my word

People were walking up to DFACE and asking him to doodle stuff on their sketch pads, post cards , stickers , etc. I did not see him say no to one person. His nails were covered in paint and he wore a blue striped shirt and jeans. Below is a picture of the dodle DFACE did on my Street Improvements.

i was skeptical but walked out stunned. The work surpassed anything I would have thought. The work was meticulous and technically brilliant. What surprised me most was the wooden oak originals. No jpeg will ever do these justice. I kinda thought the previous jpeg posted online made the pics look muddy with lack of detail but I was way off. Those and the smaller black and whites were incredible. Every piece I wanted to buy after seeing them was taken. I'm not a big superhero guy but they looked so nice I considered buying a coupe of them but they actually were going quick and I got cold feet. At the end I bought the print which was a lot tougher then expected. They're very nice, perfect size, and priced well for such a small edition. Can't wait to get it framed. I arrived one hour after the private opening and the popcorn giveaways were long gone.

I chatted with MDV and finally had the chance to do the face the face thing and he was super complimentary to his fans. DFace was very un-assuming and was genuinely appreciate of all that turned out on such a s**tty night. It's very clear how much he enjoys what he does. The surprise of the night was bumping into a very low key Kaws lurking around. I saw him and almost tackled the man. He's very guarded and after speaking with him a bit it's clear he prefers lurking in the shadows.

All in all one of the best shows i've been to in quite a while. Joshua Liner was there which was nice to see and was layed back as usual. If anyone of you out there are reading this and are the one who purchased "unamerican graffiti" I'm serious with saying I'd love to buy this piece. If you get cold feet hit me up..

Of course I forgot my camera and had to resort to shitty phone pics which I'll post tomorrow hopefully. Last highlight was getting stuck at the elevator with wearology. Really good guy and glad we met.

WOW!!! The Picts look great and I can only imagine how good they looked in person, they also look massive!!!

Looks Like D*Face has done it again!! Was not overly impressed with the images on the Levine gallery site, but seeing those pictures Wearology has posted I can see they must all look amazing in the flesh. Can someone please post more pictures from the show?

Were the sculptures for sale (don't think they were on the buyers preview)?

The sculptures look great, werent they 1250 a pop like the Dead Can?.
