As far as I know we don't actually have a have a UK Elections board so this thread goes wherever I think fits best at that moment, but thanks for your concern anyway

UK General Election 2010, by bubbleandsqueak on Jan 4, 2010 14:56:41 GMT 1, Quite simple really, you vote labour we'll be in knee high deep of s**te but then again they have dug a hole so deep when it comes to debt no matter who gets in they will have 4 long, hard years of trying to fill the hole. And i hope that if the hole does get filled with the likes of conservatives that they would get voted back in again because if they didnt labour would do what they normally do. Screw the well off to fund the no hopers, baby poper's and immigrants coming to abuse our easy housing laws and benefit system. I still don't understand labour can pay people (benefits) for doing nothing, not even cleaning graffiti, picking up leaves but to do something. Look at the family of 16, i think in total they are taking home in excess of ยฃ700 a week tax free, bloody joke.

UK General Election 2010, by manchestermike on Jan 4, 2010 15:35:11 GMT 1, The current government have royally fucked up and as a result we're in the shit - hopefully a new government will come in to sort the mess out - and sort it they will do, however, as is the way with these things it may have to get worse before it gets better.
Once the new government have sorted everything, people forget about what a shower the last lot were, only remember the new government made things worse for a while (which they had to in order to sort the mess out) and vote the others back in again - who will, once again, as last time send it all to shit again

UK General Election 2010, by nex on Jan 4, 2010 15:43:23 GMT 1, because the Conservatives were such a power for good in the 80's and 90's? and the recent recession was caused soley by the UK Labour Party?
most politicians whatever party they're for, have a hugely short term view of what is to be done, this unfortunately always leads to a cyclical nature to the whole affair, with ppl readily forgetting how many mistakes the 'previous lot' made

Here come all the jokes about people liking BIG busts

UK General Election 2010, by manchestermike on Jan 4, 2010 16:36:24 GMT 1, Less than a 1.5% difference in my constituency - currently Lib Dem on about 41.7% with Labour 40.3% very close second so a tactical Lib Dem vote has to be the play

having said that, the gap between rich and poor has increased under Labour, so I can't see the point in voting for them.... they haven't done their job, and involved us in a war I belive to be totally illegal.
So I will vote "another"
also as we have to "respect other peoples opinions" it would be interesting to see if any supporters of Nick Griffin start piping up, as i would find it very hard to muster any respect for their arguments.... still if I have to I will of course "just follow orders!"
But I also think this sort of thread is gonna cause arguments, it appears one member (mrease) has already "left the building" because he didn't like politicians and just wanted to talk about art!... lol what a sap! ;D
