After the film hits NYC and LA MBW will be a force of nature. Like J-Bot says the Uk is behind in the scene here in the States and MBW is blowing up! This will be my 11th MBW piece hopefully and 12 with the awesome Lennon print that is coming out!

What's the difference between Fairey doing this and MBW doing this?
Not saying either is more or less talented than the other, but they both have worked with the same technique when it comes to "ripping off" a pre-existing photo.

True, but in no means was Shep the first artist to work with this method either. Let's face it...The art world is filled with knock offs, unoriginal ideas and "simple" pieces that sell for big bucks.
Hell, we can all create our own tiles to make a space invader, but something about owning the piece from the artist gives us a thrill.
Art is just as much marketing, as it is talent and original ideas (if not more so). The viral spread of street art vs. it's induction to art galleries proves it.
