Mr. Brainwash โข Generations Print, by hollowsphere on Apr 9, 2010 21:19:06 GMT 1, I would love to hear someone explain what they enjoy about this and what makes it good (if anyone feels that way). I am curious and won't judge. I just want to know.

Mr. Brainwash โข Generations Print, by monkeyart on Apr 9, 2010 21:25:21 GMT 1, On a peace mission tonight eh silky?
Is it ok to say that the reason trekkies will go bonkers for this print is that their all actually bonkers? Or is that considered a bit too much "hate" against trekkies ;-)

Silks - where do you draw the line? I have not commented so far on any of the MBW threads, because I felt it had all been said. Can I say whether I like this print when I see it? If I don't like it - can I say that? Can I make any critique about the artistic merits? Or can I only say positive things? Cheers c

Mr. Brainwash โข Generations Print, by AFR1KA on Apr 9, 2010 21:31:52 GMT 1, Personally I think its a cool concept I like the idea of the old style photo with the futuristic TV show characters. But it just doesn't look good imo. It looks very cheap. This could be one that really pops in person, I would love to see a high res image.

Mr. Brainwash โข Generations Print, by hollowsphere on Apr 9, 2010 21:36:50 GMT 1, afr1ka, so you just like it because you think it is a neat idea (but possibly not well-executed)? okay, that's interesting. I am trying to get a feel for what people like about Mr Brainwash from this print without judging or indicating an opinion. Thanks! Anyone else like it and have a reason why?

Just use your common sense really It totally fine to say you don't like a piece, and explain what you find wrong with it. Its when people start using words like crap,s**t, rubbish thats not so much stating your opinion, but slating the piece totally, and anyone who might actually like it. Respect other peoples feeling and opinions Thats all.

Yeah exactly. I think its a good idea just poorly executed.

Yeah agree with that. Could have been so much better looks very very rushed.

Yep! your right This scene has more than its fair share of wanna be rebels who just go around looking for a chance to show how anarchistic they can be on an online forum all very sad really, so I do try to weed out the trolls as much as possible.

Mr. Brainwash โข Generations Print, by monkeyart on Apr 9, 2010 22:12:04 GMT 1, Silky imagine....someone who loves art on an art forum not giving an opinion on a piece of art! Even if its as simple as Yes or No, we're not on here judging the qualities of Rubens against Raphael!! What is there as to why do you don't like the picture above, the sepia colour and spock doesn't look quite right and the composition is all wrong!!! Its just rubbish imo... and I'm not going to upset the artist by saying this! Unlike someones comments I could mention. Its not being a rebel its an opinion as for 'trolls' what does that mean?

Mr. Brainwash โข Generations Print, by Daniel Silk on Apr 9, 2010 22:25:29 GMT 1, No matter how much you hate a piece of art, its still basic common courtesy to at least respect other peoples views and opinions. Some people use the old chestnut about not being allowed to express their opinions but thats just bull shit! what they actually want is the right to abuse other people under the guise of free speech.

Daniel Silk โข The number or Boards and Threads continues to fall as we simplify the layout of the forum.
Daniel Silk โข I hear a lot of Artists complaining about Instagram in the past year, how it used to be a good tool for Artists, but it's not good anymore, is that true?
anyaart โข For Brett Kern fans, I noticed there is a spinosaurus for sale on E-Bay. It's a limited edition, one of only 60 made. This is the rarest of his dinosaurs. I am not the seller. I already have the same dino purchased in 2016. I've never seen one up for sale
Daniel Silk โข Apology โข Sorry I have been offline this past few weeks, due to a very bad Fever. I'm slowly getting better, step by step, and catching up with things here on the forum on the days I'm well enough. Thank you for your understanding.
Boy Wonder โข I read that they were more or less nicked the same day they went up. Loads of fakes exist.
milou2 โข Would love to see any photos of Banksy's first exhibition at the Severnshed in Bristol (2000). Who was there?*
jirr โข Hi all, over here in the states. Pandemic put me out of business, need to sell this asap. Please send offers thanks so much
matgab โข Steven Harrington - Gotcha first ed for sale.
1nkling โข I can't help but think that a more reasonable tier for people who just want to support the work you guys do would raise more income. Then other tiers for those that want specialist benefits.
1nkling โข As soon as I saw the heading for the email I thought 'Oh yeah, I use that place a lot. I'd happily support it'. Not at ยฃ40 a month though. I have a paid sub for a Formula 1 site I use that is very active. They have a high uptake on subs at ยฃ12 a year.
1nkling โข Pricing on the new supporters sub seems a bit poorly thought out. ยฃ40 a month to have a pinned sale thread being the only listed benefit?
Daniel Silk โข The forum now has more than half the number of Boards than it had a year ago! As we work towards simplifying the layout.
ashj52 โข Hi everyone; does anyone know where I may be able to find a George condo prism print? Any guidance on price would also be much appreciated! I contacted AA, they said they cannot disclose whether there will be any further drops this year.
