Bidendum - The New Way to Buy and Sell Banksys, by Daniel Silk on Oct 30, 2008 17:21:39 GMT 1, Please keep to the thread discussion. Anyone would think you are a bidendums partner by the way you carry on. Hmmmm .....
Please get in touch with reality I have said twice I cant understand why anyone would want to use a site like Bidenhum, and have done more to help Auction Saboteurs PR on this thread than anyone (god knows why).

He had to, he had no choice. The fact that he has banned people for being critical of Cartrain but lets this cowboy continue to tout his wares here .... its a comedy, it really is. Quite funny, but a farcical nonesense none the less.

Bidendum - The New Way to Buy and Sell Banksys, by dmandpenfold on Oct 30, 2008 18:35:07 GMT 1, christ on a bike, this is getting a little over the top, the only person who's been made to look like a shister is bigendbum, i think all else is relatively minor in comparison, this isnt a thread about AS or anyone else so lets try and keep a sense of perspective.
bigendbum is worth keeping around for now, if for nothing else than to see them squirm a bit, once it's died a death (if it hasnt already) they wont be back using that name anyway, savour the moment whilst it lasts if it pleases you...

Bidendum - The New Way to Buy and Sell Banksys, by Bidendum on Oct 30, 2008 18:56:35 GMT 1, I am dissapointed that you have decided without any proof that Bidendum is a fraud. It is not I am a partener (financier) in the concept. What would Bidendum have to do or say in order for you to believe it is a bona fide business? It is designed to give buyer and seller best possible price in a perfect market place. Every effort has been made to give complete security from fraudulent artworks and the buyers money. The pictures are all insured by the courier company and authentication will be proven. I understand your scepticism but you are wrong on this occasion. Give this start up a break and don't kill it in the water!

Imo, you need to be backed (by which I mean given the thumbs up) by someone officially associated with Banksy or his primary gallery/publisher. You also need to show somehow that you could take a hit, if you were to damage someone's "Kate" or GWB whilst inspecting its' condition or removing it from a tube.

I can see and hear clearly where you are coming from.
However you have yet to answer some simple questions which have been put to you.
In my line of business failure to answer probing questions takes me, by default, down the road of - "ok don't answer, but... my decision is being made for me".
If anyone is sinking the project of which you are part it is you - by your responses in this forum to date.
Re-iteration is fine - however avoidance is not.
Don't get me wrong - there is (for some) a gap in the market place where safety and trust is missing - I don't however think or believe at this time that you are capable of tapping into it.

I honestly think it is to late to say or do anything, perhaps if you had come clean right at the beginning about the multiple id thing, and the terms and conditions on your website were at least half reasonable. If you could prove beyond doubt that you had insurance (and I dont mean whilst they are in transit by a courrier) to cover all risks while in your possesion. But I think the most important thing in my mind is to prove, again beyond doubt that you are not some fly by night, small time outfit, operating out of someones front room, who will not do a runner with peoples art, and to proove that, would require references of the highest quality from well respected members of the art world, but as I said earlier ,I think it now is far too late for that, I certainly would never use a service like this!!!

Bidendum - The New Way to Buy and Sell Banksys, by Bidendum on Oct 21, 2010 12:11:23 GMT 1, www.bidendum.com
Bidendum is a new and completely secure way to trade Banksy prints, set to revolutionise the world of online art trading.
Bidendum ensures fair market value for all prints by allowing buyers to set the price they are willing to pay for a print, and sellers the price they are willing to sell it for. Bidendum offer complete buyer and seller security by securing an authorization payment from the buyer, and then receiving and fully authenticating the print with Pest Control, the official Banksy authentication service.
Buyers add their offers with a payment authorization made via PayPal. An authorization payment works like a promise - the buyer's bank is contacted to ensure they can pay for the print, but no money is taken from the buyer until the print is received and authenticated by Bidendum.
After this, the seller sends their print to Bidendum who complete the full Pest Control authentication, and send out the print to the buyer. The buyer's credit card is charged and the seller receives payment to their Bidendum account, less our low commission of 9.9%.
Each print purchased with Bidendum comes complete with a Pest Control certificate of authenticity.

Bidendum - The New Way to Buy and Sell Banksys, by Bidendum on Oct 21, 2010 12:24:41 GMT 1, Work on the site is underway.
Although all logistical aspects of the trading process have been setup and are ready to function the site graphics have to be update.
Bidendum should be ready to trade in the New Year and as confirmed we pick up and deliver prints to anywhere worldwide securing their transaction whilst utilizing the services of Pest Control authenication in the process.

Bidendum - The New Way to Buy and Sell Banksys, by Daniel Silk on Oct 21, 2010 12:32:08 GMT 1, Oh dear seems everything and anything that goes wrong is something to do with Silky, in some shape or form. From sitting on the fence i notice Silky gets dragged into anything wrong with the art world, personally i would be a bit embarrased to keep banging that drum, given that we are supposed to adults?? I guess apart from a select few, Silky like myself is not immune from making mistakes every now and then (human condition).Yet another thread that has gone way off point, and ended up with people attacking Silky Art-Wars coming to a cinema near you soon
