Whats the favorite work of art you own?, by rottenredrooster on Jan 17, 2011 21:09:07 GMT 1, Tough to pick one but I'm going for this Peter Blake with added birds from Matt Sewell:
Really like those birds. Had a look on his website, my favourite by far has to be the Bullfinch. And they're only £65 each and come complete with a hand printed nesting box with an assortment of extras!

Whats the favorite work of art you own?, by easycraig on Jan 19, 2011 20:43:14 GMT 1, having giving this thread and my collection some thought... - i would probably have to go with my elbow toe "brother can you spare a dime?" just because it was such a labor of love.... - when the wife gave me the ok to buy it (after a few drinks at opening night) i immediately felt sick... -since i was buying a piece that would not fit in my home... its 10+ feet tall, almost 7 feet wide, and 300 pounds. i remember i was shaking my head all the way home... - thinking... " can i put it outside somewhere?" lol ! - when i went to pick it up a month later, i really started kicking myself.... -it took two full grown men to load each piece into my van.... I had to leave it in the van until i could get a buddie to come over and help me unload it. -so it went in my office for 6 months laying up against the wall in 3 pieces. -everytime i walked by it... i shook my head.... finally, i got imy act together and built my daughter "the playhouse" i had promised her for the past 3 years.... - i made sure one wall had no windows and was at least 10 and a half feet tall and 10 feet wide.... ! -everyone really enjoys it, and the story behind it, when they come over...
my daughter on Brian's back opening night (pictures where on the net before we even got home... lol ) recreating the piece !
playhouse coming together:
finally in and up! - it took a good half a day to hang the thing i might add.... lol...

Here's my favourite - on plywood - about 3 foot by 4 foot - it's not even on the wall, but I love it
