And fair play to all of the artists who AS ALWAYS are quick off of the mark to throw thereselves & work at good causes.
Some have been quick to seize upon the last forum charity appeal that was spoilt by just ONE person Verbalc**t. Instead let's look back to the imense effort by this forum & W A L L K A N D Y for Pezlow's charity project in memory of his good friend who was tragically killed in the wtc that was a huge success.

Met up with Nick for lunch yesterday, explained what we were trying to do and he was more than happy to help! We have to remember that some of these artists are constantly (and I mean constantly) hit for requests to provide work for charity appeals. Since Nick's LA shows he has had hundreds of requests for charity donations. People think that a blank canvas and half an hour of your time is nothing much to give, but if you times that by the amount of requests it becomes a thankless impossible task! Obviously Nick is human and hates to turn people down, I understand because in my job I have to turn down charity requests every day (we have registered charities we support, Air Ambulance, McMillain Cancer Relief and the Deaf Blind League) He has agreed to do this as he wanted to help support the people who have supported him with an appeal they feel so passionately about! I for one can't wait to see the finished sketch pads, just hope my pockets are deep enough to grab one!!!!

Titles: "Albion II" and "Black Jack II": both titled and signed in pencil.
A quote from Brian:
"They are based on two oil paintings that I sold last year (could've sold them half a dozen times since); they're painted with acrylic. My thinking was that paintings are seen as more valuable than drawings, so.....onwards and upwards "
Book 3 will now be making its way to Dale Grimshaw.

Thats what I thought. Saves non-forum members having to trawl though pages of posts just to read the latest updates etc. I'll be including it in my next mail out in a couple of weeks which goes to over 1500 people. Should help gain further interest in the cause. And I'm sure Silky as well as galleries/artists on here will also help spread the word through their mail outs as well

This is probably the most commented on piece I have in my collection. I am not religious in any way but this piece has a spiritual feeling to it. Matty at his best IMO.
That said I am delighted everyone loves the charity piece as that is way more important.
