UK Elections, by lesbianwednesdays on Oct 4, 2007 22:27:35 GMT 1, could the comedians that voted tory at least state their reasons why. or is it just the vote of those that say nothing, like the conservatives.

UK Elections, by lesbianwednesdays on Oct 4, 2007 22:31:26 GMT 1, FYI i put no vote, in truth i would actually spoil my ballot paper with none of the above but that wasn't an option.
surely this is one place where we can leave politics aside? there is enough to argue about, without bringing this election bullsh*t to the table.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

UK Elections, by dave313perry on Oct 4, 2007 22:43:40 GMT 1, Labour - f**ked up by getting dragged by the short and curleys into war by an idiot gun weilding american
- Also decided to follow a set of generalised laws, which relate to our everyday life like Delia Smith does football - Also known as 'EU Law'...bollox
Two major downfalls of this government - time for change
contradictory as it is - i voted 'no vote'

Do ya think Banksy would be disappointed if it turned out most of his fans were Conservative voters? Who do you think he would be voting for? I'm not really sure

UK Elections, by scavos on Oct 4, 2007 23:23:26 GMT 1, Can of worms indeed. Surely the poll results so far are a wind up? For me Labour are the best of a bad bunch. Come on, I mean Cameron? Prime Minister!? ;D ;D ;D I know it's policy that matters but I just do not believe that guy. And I just hate the way politics has become so personality focused. I fully admit I get sucked in by it all on a daily basis. I'm trying my hardest to believe in Brown because I believe in Labour policy more than any other. I'm still not totally convinced by him personally. It seems the so called fickle floating voters are all too easily swayed by the stage performance of one man at conference and what the papers tell us to think about it. 'Oh yes he said the things he needed to say in such a way that now I'm going to vote for him'. Brown fucked up yesterday by underestimating the cynicism of the public and he's inherited the legacy of Iraq but I'm confident Labour will win next time whenever the election is brought about. Great news (for politics) that Benn is planning a return at the golden age of 84(ish). Now he's a fucking good man. I'm sure our American brothers and sisters are just enthralled by this thread btw. ;D ps - on a far more serious note: a bass playing work mate of mine today informed me that the name of his band is 'Jelly Helmet'. It just beat 'Beefy Midget' in the final vote.

A Banksy style post. Bit of politics delivered with some humour.

UK Elections, by dave313perry on Oct 4, 2007 23:29:53 GMT 1, I do agree that Brown seems to be tilting in the right direction with Iraq and such international affairs - its just Blair got us so far indulged in the whole worldwide community/ world peace/ war on 'terror' bollox that its a long road back to putting our barriers back, stopping everyman and his dog and rapist friend into the country. And rebuilding 'Britishness!!'

UK Elections, by runningdog on Oct 4, 2007 23:34:19 GMT 1, Bring back Norman Tebbit. You knew where you stood with Tebbit. "Find a job or die, you useless lazy drug addled scum." And when he's back, let's have Arthur Scargill leading the Labour party. You knew where you stood with Scargill. "Don't bother to try to earn a lot of money, because the state will take it and give it to businesses that lose a lot of money." Politics just isn't what it used to be... *sigh*
