I hear the UKIP are looking to raise a few quid to settle a bill! Perhaps thats a way political parties could start raising money, buy & sell art! Instead of blowing up the middle east for the oil, lets all head out to LA / San Fran with some disc cutters and start removing Banksy's from their walls! Silky - Any relation to Kilroy Silk 
Silk is his real fathers name, Kilroy is his step father He's certainly a Silk ;D if you see old photos from my family you can see the resemblance ;D his Granddad came form Hammersmith, and so did my Great Granddad, but from what we have found out they were not the same person  so  gotta be related at some point in history

Blair withdraws troops., by irf2112 on Feb 23, 2007 16:48:09 GMT 1, haaaaa! ;D no Im dead against Europe  cant see the point in it what would the UK gain? nothing  It would just cost us in handouts to the poorer countries In places like Greece and Croatia they are spending hundreds of millions of European handouts  You go and have a look and it makes the UK look like the third world  And what goods the Euro gonna do? so what! you dunt need to change ya cash when you go on ya hols big deal! ;D
The pound is very strong - Great for imports not so good for exports... Thing is we're no longer a manufacturing country so I agree. Also the introduction of the Euro would mean inflation rates and strength of the currency would no longer be linked to UK variables. So in theory if Germany went into recession (which they are if I'm not mistaken) all countries would suffer....
