how much? i had an argument with the wife the other day saying that if i ever bought another signed, even for investment purposes, it would never be for me to sell it - unless the house was gonna get repo'd or something.
the baggers get a lot of stick, but they're not as clever as they think. in time they could stand to make so much more? i do worry that all the ones on the bay being re-sold are being bought by galleries who will ony inflate the market as time goes on. not bad if you are in possesion of a signed print but starts to make the whole thing about money and not art 
i say buy what you like, live with it, then let your kids piss it up the wall.
in the words of george best: "i'm going to spend my money on booze and fast women. the rest i'm going to squander" a mantra for the little ones maybe?

I think i'm right in saying you cannot retract a bid under 12 hours of the auction ending, this may of changed, but as far as i know the only person who has the the power to withdraw a bid in the dying hours/minutes is the seller.

Agree for most part except that their motives is clearly to make a healthy profit, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Its easy to get a friend to up the bidding (Shill) but its harder to retract it and make it look legit. Lets be honest how many people stick a bid in that is too high? Not many I suppose as it gives you two warnings before you submit it.

POW say they don't want people flipping the prints over, but they know that the more people pay for these prints on ebay, the more free advertising for thier site. people then buy things from pow that they wouldn't normally. the Beautiful losers prints are a fine example. these pints are still available at $250. from the official website. much cheeper than on pow. pow must love selling stuff which no-one else can.
