Big mistake.
End of first half thought we were going to lose.
Purple patch ten minutes from the end, I thought we were going to win.
For rest of the match thought we would lose again.
Edge of the seat, nail biting game!
Argentina played beyond their ranking I thought, and England below theirs.
The win was the most important thing, but the performance is a worry for the rest of the tournamet.
Wilkinson's kicking needs an improvement quick time.
I was worried to hear that the loser today would most likely meet the All Blacks in the quarters - on home soil! Delighted not to have lost, in that case.
Very pleased with the win, but hope for better from England to come.
As a Saints fan, I do have to say - Courtney Laws, what a tackling god!!

We did not have the best preparation for this tournament but we have the quality to provide a few shocks.

I come out with "it only happens once every 4 years"!!!. CMON Wales!!! playing tonight, the Boks are big favs, but its going to be close (could be first upset of tournament). Great atmosphere with the Argies last night, I think England will improve (although nice seeing Jonny miss a few  . Goto laugh at the Aussies winding the kiwis up over here, "they are going to choke again etc.." I think they just have the edge over the All Blacks at the moment, their forwards are improving every game & the backs are on fire. Be a great final as they both should end up there..

I don't know if you could hear it on TV but the noise when Jonny was kicking was horrendous. Never heard anythingnlike it a 'proper' rugby international before. Lots of Kiwis supporting the Pumas and wearing their colours. The black jersey hasn't gone down well but I have worn one in the bars for the past couple of nights and it's been a conversation point with most people being cool with it. Some drunk idiots after the game got a tad annoying though.
It seems odd we were better than Scotland at least - they really deserved to lose - but we are below them on points. Oh well it's a week until the next bought of stomach cramps I'm the shiny new Dunedin Stadium...

Its history now and glad no one moaned about it in the post match interviews and focus on Samoa & Fiji.... tough games.

Thought the so called minnows played out of their skin last weekend, and only the Welsh played like they could really challenge the big three. I really enjoyed the Japan game and the Welsh one. England were disappointing, as were Scotland, and Ireland look the weakest of the home nations. Looking forward to the Georgia match tomorrow, as Hamilton is playing: if all the Glos boys were playing for Scotland, they would be a force I feel. ;-)

brilliant performance all round as we got such a young side.. We get a bonus point as we finished within 7, could be valuable as Fiji and samoa are no mugs, I watched samoa turn over the Aussies here in Sydney 2 months ago and the aussies only had 3 out. Its bad for your health following Wales and Swansea City, my heart rate was crazy watching us play Arsenal last night... Great opening weekend to the WC though
