WORLD CUP 2011, by Ruggs on Oct 21, 2011 23:07:54 GMT 1, Just seen the highlights of today's game. Have to say i've enjoyed every single game the Welsh have been involved in in this tournament. Deserved a lot better than fourth place. Looking forward to the final. Hosts to win, but the outcome will be a lot closer than people think I reckon.

Again our kicking was shite although not taking anything away from the aussies they deserved the win and looked like always scoring more tries. Can't wait for the final all blacks to win by 18.

His replacement spread everything wide, great stuff... All blacks on their fourth number 10 also, casualties everywhere. So glad they hung on as they haven't lost all tournament, you couldnt have the team winning the WC already losing to TOnga early on!!!  amazing WC best yet, cracking atmospheres and great seeing the lesser sides doing well...

The only thing that was quite disappointing was the referring....... I'm okay with the ref being liberal and let the game play.... But damn, you can't call some decisions for one team and don't do anything when there's the same thing with the other team 2 min after.....
Don't know if he was biased or feared to blow the whistle against the Blacks...
AB deserve to win this competition but I'm not totally sure they deserve to win this game though..

I'm not that disappointed in the loss. It was a great game with a lot of spirit... The only thing that was quite disappointing was the referring....... I'm okay with the ref being liberal and let the game play.... French can be proud of there efforts today, they battled away superbly, but the All Blacks have been the best by far in this tournament. Congrats to all Kiwi's. Roll on England 2015!

It is nice to have a liberal referee but referee has to take a decision at one point !! He can't just ignore the numerous AB's faults, especially in the last 5 minutes.
Watch this vid !
At 1.06, play the ball in the ruck + forward ball + offside !!
And at 1:43, why is he giving a penalty to the AB... You can clearly see that the French pack is moving towards and passed the ball (and this after three minutes of pick & go, AB watching the clock and not progressing).
I am sad, very sad

Just read that Dussautoir said that some of the players wanted (and were pushing) to really go and kiss (the line where) AB's but he managed to retain them (like the Irish did).
Mc Caw really starts to get on my nerve as a person. You can hate him for being what some people call a cheat for always testing how far he can get away with things but he still a top player (partly for that).
But his whole persona is really shameful. How can he be so cocky after such a scrappy win??
Anyone heard that he refused to swap his jersey with Bonnaire after the game saying he only have one and wanting to keep it as a souvenir....... (same thing happened to Bonnaire with Mc Caw, last time it was his 100th cap). Great sign of such a great sportmanship (which I thought rugby was all about)
