I also have a Stinkfish original.
Picked up an Invader original yesterday and have my eye on a Russell Young canvas so I might add another couple of pieces.
PM me for images and prices please. Will sell at good prices for quick deals.

I did not buy this work from BAST fact. I traded it for a work valued at around ยฃ3000. I am selling it below that price for a quick sale. I am not selling it at primary gallery prices either which would be close to double this.

I did find out from an interested buyer that this work was $2200 at source last year (excluding shipping and local taxes). I am pretty sure this does not make my delivered price of ยฃ2500 triple!! I am pretty sure that it makes it a damn sight cheaper than a gallery price for a work of this caliber.
Again this makes little difference as I did not buy this work from BAST and traded it for a piece valued at ยฃ3000.

I am pretty sure that 99% of people who have seen my collection realize that I have ploughed virtually every spare penny I have into my collection and my passion for art, specifically this genre. Yes I have sold pieces to help grow my collection. A growth fueled by my change in taste and fueled by my exposure to more and more wonderful artists.

littlehugh the respect system has not been turned off. I believe you can only use it once every hour or so. Sorry you will have to wait a little before using it again.

Isn't this the exact same model that LAZ galleries adopt when selling or pricing their Banksy pieces.... Just reflecting market value???

Speebe, I agree BAST is a gent and it is the main reason I did not post images of this work. It would be easier to sell if I did. I appreciate and understand the unfortunate consequences of buying and selling art for whatever reason. If I am honest it does not always sit comfortably with me.

Speebe, I agree BAST is a gent and it is the main reason I did not post images of this work. It would be easier to sell if I did. I appreciate and understand the unfortunate consequences of buying and selling art for whatever reason. If I am honest it does not always sit comfortably with me.

We know its history and so do you and your friend, albeit disingenuously presented here. We were speaking on behalf of our artist and friend, Bast. We really have nothing further to say on the matter.

The guy I traded this with has nothing to do with me and if that is what you are trying to suggest you are completely out of order. For all I know he might very well be annoyed that I decided to sell. Given he is a mature adult I doubt he will take exception to me selling it but if you are implying that its anything other than what I have explained on this thread then you are out of order and your comments are verging on slander.
Can I ask if your voice (which remains anonymous to me as you have not approach me privately with your issues as request) is the official voice of The Outsiders & Lazarides. I would like to understand if you are commenting in official capacity for these two galleries.
As most people know I bought two canvases from BAST in the last three months and they are hanging on my walls. I am now going to contact BAST about this situation and your galleries comments. He may well be annoyed that I took it in a trade and that I am now selling it but I am damn sure I will not let you insinuate that anything other than that has happened here.

I did find out from an interested buyer that this work was $2200 at source last year (excluding shipping and local taxes). I am pretty sure this does not make my delivered price of ยฃ2500 triple!! I am pretty sure that it makes it a damn sight cheaper than a gallery price for a work of this caliber. Again this makes little difference as I did not buy this work from BAST and traded it for a piece valued at ยฃ3000. Nobody said you bought it direct. We know its history and so do you and your friend, albeit disingenuously presented here. We were speaking on behalf of our artist and friend, Bast. We really have nothing further to say on the matter. Now I am confused. I would also add I am not aware of the fact that this work has had two other owners but then I was not aware of the original purchase price. These facts were not relevant to me and I looked at the trade at face value based on what I thought the piece was worth and what value I put on my trade.
I would add that owning a piece of art or selling one carries a responsibility. As I said earlier this situation is never ideal and I have tried by not putting images on the Internet to do this sensitively.
I have contacted BAST to explain my actions. I have mentioned no names as that is not the way I behave.

You should be embarrassed by how unprofessional your being right now. You as an employee wouldnt even have a job, let alone be sitting infront of a computer posting on this forum if your boss Mr Laz hadnt of done the exact same thing rinsing the market with banksy pieces...last time I checked you were selling signed banksys PRINTS at 15k plus...
