Glwyt Hi, ....yes its this model...no expert on these it was bought a couple of years ago and I liked the fact it was the year I was born...I really don't wear it that much so I have decided to part with it. The model number is 5513/0 if anyone can give more info please feel free...Its in great condition. I will upload photos later. Please PM if interested? |

Due to some exciting news may be joining the massed ranks of those lucky individuals who own a rolex timepiece. Starting at the bottom of the market, looking perhaps to buy 2nd hand. Aware of many of my dear friends and colleagues who have them, but the are commonly of the south london pub variety, and to put it mildly seldom "work" for a living as we may commonly understand it! So slightly reluctant to go down that route. Any help would be appreciated.

I can not think of any watch that holds - or increases - it's value more than a Rolex.
If you want your money back in 5 years time, with interest, go for the rolex, if it's class your after, go for a Patek Philippe Calatrava......
There are some very high quality fakes around nowadays...... South Londoners are never sold these unknowingly, as they are not easily fooled, nor gullible!

(I think i may have just ruined my own argument)
I had an explorer 2 white dial, really liked it, went through a skint phase, sold it easy.
Got an old Sea dweller now, its not as as pretty as the dress watch, but if i feel the urge, I can dive really deep and while down there check to see if i am running late for happy hour

i would maybe trade my Sea Dweller for a signed Banksy, in fact sod it, yes i would, I need a change, live life on the edge and all that, just PM me xx

Great watch though. I have had a sea dweller for over 15 years and it's an absolute tank. As with most Banksy searches, for the best results I'd sell your watch first and then work towards an all cash purchase. Good luck.
