The Best Film Ever, by Schrödinger's Chat on Feb 10, 2019 22:24:38 GMT 1,
I just watched 'an evening with beverly luff linn' which is by the same director, that was a weird ass film, good but far out, like the Coen Brothers... On crack.

Louis Masai New print Seahorses , by Schrödinger's Chat on Feb 7, 2019 19:07:22 GMT 1, I think the straw looks better than the cotton bud/q-tip, it's just looks a bit small compared to the seahorses. The spotty straw particularly.

Worst auction deal with ebay seller, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 28, 2019 7:54:22 GMT 1, This has happened to me plenty of times, once I've won the auction item is then lost, damaged, the person doesn't post it, the list goes on. Plenty of dodgy sellers on ebay it goes with the territory. Until I have the item in my hand I work on the premise that anything could go wrong and so try not to get my hopes up. If you receive your money back I don't think ebay really do anything else.
I have had plenty of good deals as well but I approach every ebay deal with low expectations nowadays.

Damien Hirst H4 • Veils, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 22, 2019 13:44:58 GMT 1, New Hirst book incoming
Damien Hirst - Pharmacy London In 2005 Damien Hirst began photographing every dispensing pharmacy in the Greater London area. Shooting both the individual pharmacists behind their counters and the exterior views of the city's 1,832 chemists, the project has taken over a decade to complete. The images are brought together in their entirety in this extraordinary ten-volume artist's book, which presents a portrait of the city through the people and places that prescribe the medicines we take on a habitual and daily basis.
Edition of 750 (I believe) Nearly 4000 pages long
Various presale sites around.

Brexit, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 21, 2019 18:25:04 GMT 1, You have to pay for a passport so I can't see why you shouldn't have to pay for a settled status certificate (or whatever they call it).
Yeah right, what are these 'citizens of nowhere' whining about?
In the meantime could you send me £65 and all your biometric details so I can assess whether you can carry on living the life you've been legitimately leading here for the last xx years?

Brexit, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 21, 2019 17:25:08 GMT 1, Sounds like the £65 application fee for settled status has already been revoked, or will be imminently. Wife tried to do it today... you have to have an android phone with contactless payment function!! Or, register at Hackney Council (apparently only council office in London with the facility to do it!), but not until 29th March! Chaos...
I heard that, has to be an android phone that's less than 2 years old with nfc (whatever that is).
My partner has not tried yet, probably wait until the dust settles and they sort out the gremlins in the machine.
It's all a bit unwelcoming when you have made your home here, paid all your taxes here, studied here, raised your children here, run businesses here etc.
I think charging £65, and taking fingerprints and photos just felt like yet another kick in the proverbials.

The KLF 2323 WORLD TOUR, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 21, 2019 16:28:45 GMT 1, I like that Ken Campbell is the narrator, seems good fun so far.
Ken Campbell and his daughter Daisy were very active in directing the KLF stage shows, and Daisy's play Pigspurts Daughter is a great insight into the Illuminatis Trilogy, no. 23, the Jamms etc. And her Dad and KLFs obsession with it.
Ken Campbell wrote the show Pigspurt, and according to Daisy it came about as Buster Bloodvessel from Bad Manners points out that his nose looked like the buttocks of a naked woman. Ken then tries to search out the lady whose buttocks look like his nose only to one day catch sight of his own buttocks in the mirror and realises it is buttocks that he has been searching for.

PEZ - Pierre-Yves Riveau, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 18, 2019 14:12:23 GMT 1, Hard to tell but to me it looks like the print is even more dark and foreboding than the original canvas, I think it's a bit darker in the bottom right, shadow on trees etc.
It's a bleak message but delivered very imaginatively.

Brexit, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 15, 2019 21:37:05 GMT 1, Sadly I also can't see May losing tomorrow, nor will she resign which is the historic norm after a trouncing like this.
A general election doesn't move anything forward.
A completely bloody horlicks.
My guess, Article 50 will either be kicked down the road (delayed) or revoked completely.

Desert art? A new art installation will play Toto’s ‘Africa’, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jan 15, 2019 21:16:55 GMT 1, I lived on a kibbutz back in 1997 and there was one pub/disco, most of the evening was spent listening to completely unbearable music to the point that when Toto came on it really was the apotheosis of the evening.
Despite these fond memories the thought of a whole evening of it also sounds unbearable, presumably the novelty / hilarity disapated pretty quickly.
Even less a lifetime in a desert listening to it.
