I'm looking for a Harland Miller 'Love Saves The Day' promotional show card. I want to frame it along with a Hates Outta Date print I have been lucky enough to purchase from a lovely forum member.

I have some cash I can offer or a HM 'Happiness showcard' and a few quid if that helps get me one instead.

Looks like the same one I got imported from Japan for girlfriend from a link on the forum much earlier in the year. Can't remember price then, but can confirm they look great in the flesh!

I bought the cover of the Francis Bacon DLM about five years back for about £20 and then sold if on for about £100 when I got skint. Quality of that was great and looked nice framed up. I see now on the site the full 8 page Bacon copy in new condition is £1200. Bit steep for me but for people buying the DLM at the other end of the scale at £50 I think you are getting a great quality bargain and the Litho pages look great on the wall.

I appreciate lots of people on here are annoyed and frustrated atm but hopefully there will be lots more drops of exciting stuff in coming weeks.

Thanks to the heads up from FR lots of forum members - hundreds maybe - have now got a great Banksy poster for a tenner. I was considering parting with hundreds of quid for one a few months back so this forum has once again made my week. Also lots of this thread is great chat about old POW prints. I have learnt things I didn't know and older and wiser forum members are explaining stuff and posting pics of old framed POW prints which is great and refreshing for all the chat to be about art again and not flipping.
I hope there are more Soup Cans for those that missed out and I hope lots of the chat remains about the old prints popping up, bringing back memories for some and being great purchases for others.

How much were the piggy banks? I didn't even get see them in the flesh when I saw the exhibition, except the main big one in the show of course. Sounds like they were a great purchase....

From memory the House Of Love on show just looked a bit flimsy to me, but as I said above sure some people would love to have one up in their homes.

Brighton Festival is delighted to announce that the 2018 Guest Director is the Brighton-based visual artist David Shrigley (b.1968).

Best known for his distinctive drawing style and works that make satirical comments on the absurdity of 21st-century society, Shrigley's darkly humorous compositions reflect the inconsequential, the bizarre, and the disquieting elements of daily life. While drawing is at the centre of his practice, his work spans an extensive range of media including sculpture, large-scale installation, animation, painting, photography and music.

Widely admired by the art world and public alike, David Shrigley was nominated for the prestigious Turner Prize in 2013 for his solo show David Shrigley: Brain Activity at the Hayward Gallery. In September 2016, Really Good, a 7metre-high elongated bronze sculpture of a thumbs-up, was unveiled as the latest incumbent of Trafalgar Square's Fourth Plinth - described as the ‘tallest and most positive yet'. An active member of the Save the Arts campaign, Shrigley recently contributed a series of illustrations depicting the benefits of the arts to health and wellbeing to accompany a report published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing.

On his appointment as Brighton Festival Guest Director David Shrigley says:

“The great thing about Brighton Festival is that you see things that are really thrilling and wonderful that you've never heard of before. What I'm looking forward to about the role of Guest Director is having the opportunity to not only see a lot of stuff and programme stuff but also make some artwork myself and have it presented in the place where I live. I think it's a really nice way to communicate with people, to meet people and to invite people to come to Brighton.”

David Shrigley is the first visual artist to take on the role of Guest Director since the inaugural Guest Director, Anish Kapoor in 2009. Other previous Guest Directors include the acclaimed recording artist, poet, playwright and novelist Kate Tempest (2017), pioneering artist and musician Laurie Anderson, who led the 50th Brighton Festival in 2016, award-winning author Ali Smith (2015) and musician Brian Eno (2010) who have all taken turns shaping the three-week programme of cultural events.

Brighton Festival 2018 (5-27 May 2018) will feature new work from David Shrigley alongside exclusives, world and UK premieres from a wide range of international, national and local artists and companies.

Full programme details will be announced in February but a handful of events that can be revealed now include the co-commission Grand Finale by Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival Associate Artist and Brighton Festival 2014 Guest Director Hofesh Shechter- a bold and powerful vision of a world in freefall, which has recently opened to glowing reviews at Sadler's Wells; Calixto Bieito's The String Quartet's Guide to Sex and Anxiety, a remarkable new production from one of Europe's most exciting theatre directors; and The Voice Project's Arms of Sleep, an overnight choral sleepover experience in which audiences encounter a unique dream-like and immersive night of music and stories, sound and images.

Due to some timewasting and also perhaps me not being specific enough about some items I have the Banksy Books and the framed WCP Banksy back up for sale.

And I should have said the WCP Happy Choppers is in a lovely white frame but it was fixed to back of frame when I bought it from another Forum member so if interested ask me for pics and then only buy if you are planning to hang on your wall as it is. It is ready to go but seems some people thought they might buy it and reframe or remount which wouldn't be possible.

I can't find an identical one online but Umbro have reissued versions of this top a few times I think, and this one looks familiar so I think it is probably a newer version sadly.

This one is quite similar (though not the same cos of the collar) from five years ago.

It is the label which mainly makes me think this is too new to be from 66 but I hope for your mate's sake I am wrong! Cheers
