Banksy Print Release Per Year?, by dodge on Jul 30, 2011 10:17:53 GMT 1, Next one should be a treasure hunt. If you work out the clues they will lead you to somewhere in the world where you get the print. Would really test who wants one and if the clues were based on his previous work it would give his real fans an advantage If you want a puzzle buy a book. Banksy needs to get his act together and start releasing 2/3 prints a year like he used to - and none of this 25 edition rubbish - WTF was that all about. And none of this lottery/in shop jokery - get them online like the old days. Getting a Banksy print now has become a joke !!!
^ What he said.

David Choe "City Girl 150" FS Framed, by dodge on Feb 2, 2011 9:28:35 GMT 1, It's beautiful and I would love it. Unfortunately I need to spend some money getting prints framed!
Before Christmas, someone on here had one framed in a similar manner. They were asking for £550 if I remember correctly.

Andy Warhol 🇺🇸 Real or Fake? • Sunday B. Morning Print, by dodge on Jan 11, 2011 10:22:05 GMT 1, I know it's a long shot but does anyone have an exhibition poster for ‘There is Desire Left [Knock, Knock]' at Kunstmuseum Bern, January 25- March 27, 2008. It's the 'eggs' one!
I found one on ebay but it is over £100 with postage! The museum show them as being in stock online but unfortunately they are all gone.
Cheers. X

WTB OBEY Molotov Man, by dodge on Jan 1, 2011 21:57:21 GMT 1, They very rarely pop up for sale. I saw one on ebay a while ago but some joker wanted £1200 BIN. Last one I saw prior to that on ebay went for under £300 if I remember correctly. Good luck, it's a nice print.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by dodge on Dec 11, 2010 11:19:51 GMT 1, I was pretty excited about queuing, the last time was BRP and their release of the TMA New York print which seems like centuries ago, met loads of Forum members and had a great time, last night I had to leave, the mob had taken over and what annoys me the most is knowing that the large majority of 'thugs' who were clearly 'hired' to grab a ticket at all cost will get a print. lessons will be learned from this and heres hoping that all of us genuine collectors will one day have our chance to own one from source.
I think those days are gone. You are better off saving up your pennies and buying one a reputable forum member.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by dodge on Dec 11, 2010 11:16:01 GMT 1, I wasn't in too bad a part of the queue as we were just around the corner so in a narrow path and everybody seemed to get along, a few fights kicked off ahead of us, not sure if it was people trying to push in or just pissed people but it did turn really nasty at times. Spirits were still quite high as after god knows how many head counts were taken we always ended up being about 160 so we were unite happy, but then at about 7 o'clock 2 fat gorillas in suits shout out they have the raffle tickets to guarantee a print the queue didn't matter anymore, all down commercial street it was about 10 people wide where everyone went round the side, then people getting off the bus at the bus stop right next to the front just jumped in then cars just pulled up an more people just kept jumping in the queue, started to get nasty again then as people were just trying to squeeze through as much as possible and I probably ended up about 25 from the front when the doorman said no more. So after 9 hours and patience I get f**ked in the arse and for others they managed to bag themselves something they probably wern't even sure was until they were handed the raffle ticket. f**k POW for treating us like that That would have cost you a few quid on Berwick Street...
Just spat a little bit of tea out of my nose while reading this.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by dodge on Nov 28, 2010 21:25:52 GMT 1, Class. Another queue release that people like me (up North) who have a family/job/responsibility have no chance of getting. As usual, I will end up paying some flipper over the odds to get my hands on it. I long for the days when you could actually browse and think about which Banksy you were going to buy. Ho Hum.

Grant Howard & Lee Parker Plea Guilty fake Banksy, by dodge on Jul 14, 2010 21:25:46 GMT 1, Yeah a 240 hour community work order I had a real and fake TW side by side knowing which was bad and still couldn't tell the difference
Yep. Had it not been for the police contacting me, I would have been completely oblivious.

Grant Howard & Lee Parker Plea Guilty fake Banksy, by dodge on Jul 14, 2010 21:24:28 GMT 1, so how to tell if your print you bought was a fake made by these guys? Are there any distinguishing features on the forgeries, ie are they blind stamped. What fake prints were they behind, was it only the MONKEY QUEEN, GOLF SALE, QUEEN VICTORIA, GRANNIES, BOMB HUGGER, PULP FICTION, TURF WAR & LAUGH NOW - as shown in the pics and BBC footage earlier?
I got stung with an unsigned HMV too. Roll on December, I might actually get some money back. I'm not holding my breath....

Open To Offers On All Pieces......Last Chance, by dodge on Apr 18, 2010 10:29:23 GMT 1, Wasn't there a framed city girl up for £550 recently? I had a look but can't find it. That said, £550 is way cheap for such a lovely piece.

I didn't,Scotland Yard and I'm guessing with some input from POW/PC did I was just the framer not the Detective The clock is ticking for those responsible, I've read elsewhere that over 70 people have been affected, and that's those that have come forward

Banksy • Turf War Print • 2003, by dodge on Mar 20, 2010 18:13:47 GMT 1, when you say fake, do you mean backdoor?
Probably not. There are so many counterfeits at the moment it is difficult to tell real/backdoor/fake. I got stung for an HMV. To be honest, I am reluctant to buy any Banksy prints at all.

Damien Hirst Butterfly Prints, by dodge on Feb 4, 2010 18:51:27 GMT 1, I any One wants a 50x 50 cm repeat from his butterfly wallpaper drop me a line - looks beautiful all framed up......(although I have a whole wall papered up in it) not signed obviously..... for those who haven't seen it it looks like this this is 2 repeats btw (which i could do on request)
I had one of these repeats from Graffoto and it looks great in a white box frame with white mount. The quality of the wallpaper is superb and it's a nice way to get a bit of Hirst on the wall. Just need to start saving for some of his huuuuuuuge spot prints!

Banksy £10 • Di-Faced Tenner, by dodge on Jan 17, 2010 12:01:28 GMT 1, Poor show from wilf. If you had an idea they were fake you shouldn't of passed them onto someone else.
What he said. I recently got done in the ebay scam which is due in court in May. I wouldn't dream of passing on the print to anyone else.

Want to Buy- Unsigned Banksy Morons 500 GBP, by dodge on Jan 16, 2010 18:08:52 GMT 1, Were these £250 at source? If so, does that make it the lowest return on any Banksy print?
Saw loads of Banksy's on here over the last three weeks for £500-£550. This includes Trolleys, Applause and Morons. £500 is still double the cost price.

Authentication Question...., by dodge on Jan 3, 2010 21:38:41 GMT 1, Just wondering, do you/anyone else think a seller should have to provide a PC COA if they are the original purchaser of a pre pest control print from POW? (so the print is therefore registered in their name and the receipt has their name and address on it) Seems a little hard on an original buyer who has all the transaction paperwork to have to cough up another £50 if they ever want to sell their print to me. Even more so I'm afraid, given they paid peanuts and are going to get a massive return. In some cases the COA could cost more than original price Moving away from money, the system set up serves a purpose and I'm sure over time more and more fakes will be found because of this system
Amen to that!
