Keith Haring Galerie Watari Poster For Sale, by Jaylove on Feb 1, 2022 13:40:04 GMT 1, I'm not greedy - I've only one there’s absolutely nothing wrong imo of buying 1, framing n hanging it, then tucking 1 away in a flat file 4 safe keeping.... the greedy ones have bought several.... i know somebody with 10.... that’s not me.... just wanna clarify.... -Maverick Part of me wishes the value in these drops to $5 for the overindulgent leaches that destroy the market for so many things. I detest people like that.

Paco Pomet 🇪🇸 Granada, Spain • New Paintings , by Jaylove on Jan 31, 2022 18:48:26 GMT 1, Good to get some clarification. Given the steps taken to make sure the print is safe I can accept a higher shipping price. It’s the ones shipping out tubes taking liberties.

Kaws. 600 prints. $5000, by Jaylove on Jan 19, 2022 14:24:06 GMT 1, And for $3m you’d think he’d put in a little effort and create something cool and new like his older prints. I’d like to think if o has that following I’d care about creating good with Rj but I suppose why. If people will keep buying xeroxes of old slightly changed pieces so be it Lol at effort. Cmon. It’s all about $ for the least amount of effort. We see this everywhere. There are loons that will pay for it anyways.

Martin Whatson • THE CRACK & SNEAK PEAK , by Jaylove on Dec 25, 2021 1:14:10 GMT 1, Oh no. Plenty of people bought them no doubt. Collectors though? Not many. These will be all over ebay. The market has completely changed. Not many collectors? Lol. When I say a collector I mean someone who will be happy to keep the print as opposed to flip it. I could have said someone who appreciates his art. A fan, a collector. Not a flipper. They sold thousands and thousands of each. Even if 100 turn up on eBay tomorrow, that's not even close to 10% of the whole run. 90%-95% of these have been sold to people who will be very happy to add this to their collection, maybe hang their first Whatson on their wall. "The market has completely changed"?? What is that supposed to mean? Damn dude, did I offend you? Anyone who has been paying attention and sees how other markets have changed knows exactly WTF I'm talking about.

They sold a shit load that's for sure. That's a shit load of people who are happy to add a Whatson to their collection after missing out over and over again. Oh no. Martin Whatson • THE CRACK & SNEAK PEAK , by Jaylove on Dec 24, 2021 3:14:39 GMT 1, Can’t wait to see these be sold in their “Vault” sale or whatever they call it. Probably will be 2x the price too with who knows how many units. The vault is for the rare stuff to sell for big bucks. Why would they even bother with the 2 Whatsons that were meant for everyone to have a chance at grabbing to begin with? These will be all over eBay. These are to satisfy the collectors who are 0/10 in the lotteries. It won't appreciate like his other prints and are the less likely to resurface in the vault. unsigned? I guess we'll see.

Martin Whatson • THE CRACK & SNEAK PEAK , by Jaylove on Dec 23, 2021 19:21:32 GMT 1, This is nonsense. A timed release that’s unsigned? What’s the point? These should be $50 if they’re unsigned.
Will buy both to flip. Amidoingitright?
This is just taking advantage at this point.

Hebru Brantley 🇺🇸 FlyBoy • Lil Mama • New Print Release , by Jaylove on Nov 21, 2021 1:20:11 GMT 1, Sheesh...$3500 USD??? Glad I picked up "boy on rocket" from printthemall when it was an edition of 99 and was much cheaper at $975... And the website says "join the waitlist" but I received an email with a presale code...I might have bought this if not for the $3500 price tag... These galleries aren’t leaving any money on the table… and by trying to squeeze out resellers are hurting the true collectors. The last Kayla release by ThinkSpace was a price example, $5k USD for 4 prints that don’t come anywhere near to being her best work….IMO they kind of have an unfinished quality to them. What gets me is how sharply the prices have increased. Anyways, not for me.

Michael Kagan 🇺🇸 Helmeted Astronaut Paintings • Brooklyn, by Jaylove on Nov 1, 2021 23:39:24 GMT 1, I agree. It doesn't stop the flippers. They keep buying. It stops the collectors. If this was priced better I would have bought. I don't flip anything. This is also true. All of these actions only hurt the people who really want it, which is probably unimportant to them because they get their pockets lined anyway. I think it's just used to increase prices. "Oh we want to discourage flippers". Flippers have money. They will flip anything if they think they can make money from it. Collectors have to be more selective. Now we have situations where people are buying works that are not even worth what they paid for it on the secondary market. Collectors give artists longevity..not flippers. They're as fickle as the wind. If your collectors have moved on, what makes you think the flippers will stay around. You will get dropped for the next hot thing.

Michael Kagan 🇺🇸 Helmeted Astronaut Paintings • Brooklyn, by Jaylove on Oct 31, 2021 1:15:18 GMT 1, I feel like Galleries and artists alike are raising prices to combat short-term resellers, but sheesh they are killing the collectors who really plan on keeping. I agree. It doesn't stop the flippers. They keep buying. It stops the collectors. If this was priced better I would have bought. I don't flip anything.

Kaws Family, by Jaylove on Sept 14, 2021 23:09:11 GMT 1, I find this kind of release to be some kind of joke. Well, I am part of it, since I am trying to get one but this is ridiculous. I can't understand why the quantities are so limited. If the product would be made available for one hour, everyone would benefit from this. Every collector could order, it would reduce the immediate resales on Ebay or StockX. The scarcity that is built from nothing in the urban art world is really getting annoying to anyone trying to grow a collection. It makes everything go in the direction of short profit over the interest of the prints / toys etc. Well that's not a big deal but I think it's really a wrong direction and the artists could really play a role in this; time realeased edtion with edition size based on the orders received during a period of time solves almost everything... It's all a scheme. They don't want to reduce values...so they make it super limited. Most of this stuff is already spoken for.
