Bitcoin, by Sliding on the Walls on Feb 23, 2018 22:08:07 GMT 1, Imagine if everything you ever owned or bought was automatically indexed and everything was potentially for sale. All your prints, all your paintings, all your music, your caps, your sneaker collections, whatever. This would be my worst nightmare. Every monolithic corporation able to pester and market to me based on my buying history. Perfect. Every criminal and criminal organization in the world able to see anything I have of value. Perfect. Even if you could put identity protection /evasion in place, you are one security vulnerability away from having all that wiped out. Perfect.
From what I gather, data is not shared with anybody unless itโs done on your terms. Even then the data given out is not held for longer than necessary. With GDPR regulation in May, and in time, there will be a huge change in the way our data is kept.
Criminals wonโt see everything you have, they wonโt even know you are you. Youโll be completely off grid if you want to be.
Surely thatโs a better predicament than what we currently have?

Bitcoin, by Sliding on the Walls on Feb 23, 2018 14:37:40 GMT 1, Not sure if anybody is familiar with Pillar? pillarproject.io/
They are creating a personal data locker (along with a wallet) which will enable us to have sovereignty over our own digital footprint.
There are loads of positive aspects of this, but here's an example related to art.
Imagine if everything you ever owned or bought was automatically indexed and everything was potentially for sale. All your prints, all your paintings, all your music, your caps, your sneaker collections, whatever.
So I buy a Banksy print and the transaction is recorded on the Blockchain. I own it for a year or two and then I get an alert on my Pillar Wallet saying somebody would like to buy it. I've not got it for sale or anything, it's automatically logged as in my ownership and so when somebody searches for one, they get given a list of possible sellers. I am happy with the price they are willing to pay so I accept the offer, receive only the details about the purchaser that I need and a transaction can go underway between me and them.
The print is sold on, recorded, and my inventory is logged as having one less Banksy print.
There's an example of what I mean in this video.

Banksy โข Flower Thrower โข Love is in the Air, by Sliding on the Walls on Feb 20, 2018 21:08:05 GMT 1, Hi Everyone, I'm selling some artworks from my private collection. Through a website accepting bitcoins and major crypto. Do you know someone who could be interested or a forum specialized to sell art in crypto? Someone sold a Banksy on here a few weeks ago, accepting BTC (They set the price cheaper if paying in BTC). So just advertise in the sale section on here what you have, and your price in BTC. I'm sure those able to pay that way will get in contact if they're interested. That person was me. I set my price in (0.91) BTC and stuck to it knowing full well the price of BTC could go up and down. The piece in question (Trolley Hunters) was sold to a long standing forum member. Best of luck with the sale. I get the feeling we'll be seeing more and more crypto prices on sale threads in the future

Bitcoin, by Sliding on the Walls on Feb 7, 2018 9:59:50 GMT 1, BTC yesterday was $5.9k now it's $7.7k
Naysayers: Do you think this is a dead cat bounce? Or is this the beginning of recovery? Interesting to witness either way.
Whilst the timing is quite convenient to only hear about it now - I saw something circulating yesterday which alleges that on January 5th, when BTC prices were $17,000 , at a dark web forum somebody called 'CyberJourno' posted:
"Guys, there are big players in play, big industrial players who want to bring the price down to $7000, I know it seems impossible now but these guys handle the media and know how to control the market. For the coming couple of months guys, stay safe, dont be scared. Brace for FUD FUD FUD!"
On Jan 5th there were two other comments on multiple forums in the Russian and South Korean social sites that suggested a biggr market manipulation in play. Interpreted and translated versions of the comments read: "Waiting for US, South Korea, Indian and Thai markets to break negative stories by February, prices to stoop back to $5000. Big market players waiting to invest millions in Bitcoin and smaller Crypto counterparts. It's easy to guess, find the common corporate entity that controls media houses in these countries. Make your connection."
The same information also suggests a consolidation of around $14k by March second week, which also ties in with Cliff High's prediction (made a year ago) of $13,888 at the mid-end of Feb.

Bitcoin, by Sliding on the Walls on Feb 6, 2018 21:32:09 GMT 1, Just a shy apparition : why a thread about bitcoins in a forum about streetart etc ... ?
Although the thread title is Bitcoin I started it as a place to talk about Blockchain technology, the thread lies in the tech section of the forum.
Bitcoin gets a bad press and sadly the negativity gets brushed onto the whole Crypto world which is actually incredibly innovative and has much potential.
Blockchain technology can be implemented in the art world to provide watertight COA provenance for example.

Bitcoin, by Sliding on the Walls on Jan 13, 2018 18:28:36 GMT 1, I think FUN is going to have a big month. Solid team and a good product. It's on a down right now, so a good time to buy. I bought a whole load of FUNC (Fun Coin) around July and thought I was buying FUN (Funfair Token). Before you all berate me, yes I know it was stupid, yes I know i'm an idiot. I'm sharing this anyway.
I watched as FUNC steadily went south and FUN went North!
It's an ongoing joke between me and my Crypto friends not only because of the fact it did terribly (currently at a 96% loss on my investment and the ONLY coin which is not seeing gains) but also it sounds like it would be used as payment for sexy times.
This being said, FUNC is on the way up (eventually and nowhere near as much as FUN has)
I'm looking forward to seeing the future for Pillar (PLR) after seeing the ease of sending cryptos with their app in their latest live video
