For Sale: Dran Tiens (ceiling print), Sebas Velasco OG, by disappointed on May 15, 2018 21:04:28 GMT 1, I was unaware of Sebas Velasco until now. He seems quite the talent... Itโs worth checking out his street work as well his canvases. Very talented. Indeed.
I'm not really one for the huge murals that, these days, are the norm on seemingly every street, everywhere, but anyone who has worked with the very fine Zoer is doing OK for me..

Eelus, TOX, Adam Koukoudakis, Ron English, Martin Creed, by disappointed on Mar 30, 2018 15:37:34 GMT 1, Trying to free up space in my storage room so am looking to sell the following.
Firstly, a couple of iconic Eelus canvasses - a "Shat-At" on Khaki green canvass and a "Chewbarber" on a lovely blue. Both are 100cms x 70cms and are signed, numbered and titled on the stretcher boards on the reverse of the canvas. There is a little ding to the top of the Chewbarber and a minor scratch on the front right which I have highlighted.
Both are from a series of 100 in colours of the buyers choosing.
Offers over ยฃ500 (each) seems reasonable?
A striking image "Bleedin Father 'n' Son" by Adam Koukoudakis, stencil on 100cms x 70cms canvass from an edition of 15. Titled and numbered on the reverse. ยฃ500.
Next up is a unique canvas by London vandal TOX, from a series of 9 or 10 released by Souled Out Studios back in 2009. Each canvas was tagged in a different colour and year representing a year in which TOX was active. TOX does not make very much work for sale so this is a rare opportunity to add some genuine graffiti history to your walls. All I can recall seeing, aside from this edition and the associated prints, is my all city tagged London Underground map which he sold to support the family of Oker during the time that Oker was jailed for writing. ยฃ700
Lastly, a few hand painted records, two by Turner Prize winner Martin Creed and one stencilled by Ron English. No idea on pricing so, sorry, I'll leave it open with a request for (sensible) offers.
Thanks for looking and, please, feel free to PM me for any details, further images, etc...

Invader Binary Code, by disappointed on Mar 29, 2018 12:20:26 GMT 1, I've been away from this forum for a long time and had forgotten about this.
I've reduced the price by a decent percentage seeing as the love for Invader has fallen away but this remains a lovely example and is not often seen for sale.

For Sale Chris Stain - Lost Souls 2007 - SOLD, by disappointed on Mar 28, 2018 14:31:02 GMT 1, Possibly more of an originator in graff history thanC215 And a much finer person than C215 - who once threatened to come and kill me after I criticised some particularly shonky example of his art on some social media platform many years ago.

For Sale Chris Stain - Lost Souls 2007 - SOLD, by disappointed on Mar 28, 2018 14:28:49 GMT 1, A very underrated artist - his technique is similar to C215 IMO. Please elaborate as I see zero similarities in technique between Stain and C215.
I have a lot of time for Chris' work and his message and this is a fine example so best of luck with the sale. I really should try to find wallspace for at least one or two of mine again...

Banksy - SOLD, by disappointed on Oct 13, 2017 16:03:27 GMT 1, It will be fine, and potentially in better condition than a print that has been framed for years. It'll just need flattening. that is certainly NOT always the case ... and either way the "mint" statement simply is incorrect for ANY print that has been tubed for over a decade. I'd buy it over a framed one any day, assuming condition is as stated. If it sells for lower than the average, all for the sake of a week or two with a framer flattening it, then even better for any potential buyers. I've personally seen some shocking examples of supposedly 'archival' framed prints and, similarly, dozens of long time tubed prints in perfect condition.
I'm not in a position to determine if this example is in mint condition as I've not seen it. Personally I'd not use mint to describe any item if only because it leaves the seller open to abuse and claims from those that will pore over prints with a magnifying glass looking for any minor ding to the edge or the hint of a blemish on the paper - the sort of minor, insignificant imperfections that really should be accepted as normal wear and tear on paper artworks.

Definitive Faile Book Collection, by disappointed on Aug 13, 2017 12:51:26 GMT 1, There is also the Boredom book from, I think, 2003 or 2004, the one that came with the CD...
I have one somewhere with a plain cover but I am sure I've seen editions with covers that were screened, unless I am thinking of a different blue coloured faile book. I'm sure there were three of these smallish edition books, Boredom, Lavender and another..

Invader Binary Code, by disappointed on Aug 9, 2017 9:38:03 GMT 1, Ive been looking for one of these - out of interest what is your price based on? I don't know value specifically for this print, but that seems at the high end? Price is based on what I will let it go for supported by the rarity and quality of the print..

Invader Aladdin Sane Print, by disappointed on Aug 6, 2017 18:12:21 GMT 1, Anyone who is bothered by such minor tape lifting damage to the reverse of the print is not interested in this as an artwork.
It's not an image I've ever been fond of but it certainly seems to have it's fans so GLWS..

Invader Binary Code, by disappointed on Aug 6, 2017 17:08:35 GMT 1, Apologies in advance for the poor pictures, it's a hard print to capture well and taking snaps under artificial light certainly did not help.
Titled Binary Code (White), this is an edition of 50, printed by Invader in 2008. There are also red and black variants, also editions of 50. I was the original purchaser and, as such, have the original e-mail order & shipping confirmation mai from orbi@space shop. The print is signed/doodled on the lower right and numbered on the lower left, both in pencil. The print measures 50cms x 70cms and is not to be confused with the much smaller Binary Bug print released as editions of 100 by Wooster Collective
The print is in mint condition although will benefit from a few weeks flattening as it has been stored in a tube for the last few years.
It's a cool, minimalist image that rewards closer inspection..
I'm unsure of where pricing is for Invader right now, let alone this specific print so would ask for offers in excess of ยฃ3500. Shipping would be additional and at buyer's expense. For convenience, as I am UK based, I would prefer a UK sale but that is not a hard line..
EDIT: Price reduced.

For Sale: Borf "Rothko" , by disappointed on Jul 30, 2017 20:13:03 GMT 1, Great Borf.
One of the very best artists out there.
Those spending multiples of the asking price for this on editions by lesser artists* are demented (or desperately dull speculators)..
*For the record, all artists (bar three or four) are lesser to Borf.

Conor Harrington Drawing FS, by disappointed on Jul 17, 2017 13:12:03 GMT 1, disappointed Would you be kind enough to respond to my PM? or is this sold?
As I informed you yesterday, I am currently out of the country on business and, as such, have very little time to read this thread. It doesn't help that the ancient forum software does not allow responses to be flagged to the OP.

Conor Harrington Drawing FS, by disappointed on Jul 13, 2017 10:08:30 GMT 1, Wow that's a Connor Harrington! I'd love that piece. The drawing is interesting clearly a sketch, not a finished composition. You can get finished pieces for less than ยฃ6.5k, not too different to this size. I think the one at the group show at stolen space (fairly) recently was under ยฃ5k.. and that's Stolen Space pricing.
I'll be polite but, to be honest, I'm getting a little tired of people undermining my sales thread with their uninformed, and unsubstantiated, price opinion. If you don't like it then just stroll on to something you do..
And, with all due respect, this absolutely is a finished composition rather than a sketch. You only need to look to the sketches shown at headless heroes to see the difference.
And the pricing of small works at stolenspace is not relevant to my valuation of this as they are such different works. I challenge you to find a drawing of this quality currently, or recently, for sale as that is what this piece should be rated against.

Conor Harrington Drawing FS, by disappointed on Jul 11, 2017 22:42:36 GMT 1, Yes I have seen the sketch pad ones in the 2k range. But hope you get it! Means my abstract canvas is worth a boatload
The sketch pieces are not comparable with this but, even so, I'd like to see where they are selling for ยฃ2k.
Incidentally, the value, or otherwise, of this piece has zero influence on the value of CH's canvas work, abstract or otherwise. I have always found his pure abstract canvasses to be the least desirable of Conor's output.

Conor Harrington Drawing FS, by disappointed on Jul 6, 2017 22:02:28 GMT 1, Stunning drawing.... but without wanting to upset you an old member on here who has since moved to the other forum had a very similar drawing from this series for sale for a while last year... it was priced at around ยฃ2500 last time I saw it and hadn't sold so I think your pricing maybe quite a bit out if that's what your genuinely expecting. With all due respect, show me that image and I will show you an inferior drawing. This is not from a 'series', it was a unique piece sold before the headless heroes show, not one of the, mostly weak, sketches sold during the show.
I have been collecting Conor's work for a very long time and have seen pretty much all that has been offerered for sale so am not naive to the range of quality out there an am as well versed in his art as pretty much anyone on this forum. I am aware of maybe three or four drawings that have been offered for public sale that are of similar, fully finished, quality to this (and own one of those other similar quality drawings) l
I rate this drawing at a similar level to the better 'Morning Glory' paint studies, hence my valuation. There is absolutely no way I would sell it for less than what Conor's uninspiring prints of the last few years are selling for as this is a truly exceptional demonstration of his talent. If it doesn't sell to someone at my price then it stays on my walls and I'll continue to enjoy it as I have done for the last seven or eight years..
