This forum wouldn't be here without Banksy so we are all here because of him.
The title of this thread should be BANKSY STILL MISSING as a lot of people see this as the reason Dolk's popularity, or profitability, his risen.
The fact that this thread was started to try and hype an artist (whoever it was) is a big part of why Banksy is missing I rectum.It's all about the Urban Art Industry not the art itself.
Long may Dolk and Banksy both spray and have a say in the streets.

With regards hype; one can say that about most artist; banksy, dolk, faile, d-face, walker, eine, blek etc etc
The absence of Banksy is notable and leaves a vacuum which Dolk seems to be filling better than any other urban artist, but this does not make him better than Banksy.
Another thing i would like to mention is some people are making out as if Dolk has just come on the scene when in fact his been doing his thing for many years now!

That's one thing that's always amazed me about this forum. Someone will make a comment, and someone else will pop up with something like "Oh yeah! That's not what you said about "artist x" 3 years ago when you went to their show and said the thing with the thing, and how you had the canvas with the number on the back!"

Or you can post something, regret it and delete, then 3 months down the line, someone will drag up your original post in an argument, sorry discussion. Why were they saving what you said? It's like some forum members have their own Prism thing going on.

There's been a couple of posts trying to reason with people and give a balanced argument, for example Coach's post, but now it just descends into another 'Dolk's rubbish, Banksy is better', 'What's his appeal' ....blah blah blah.

Jesus I never realised that so many people were so sensitive. This does remind me of the reaction the Danish cartoonist got when he drew a picture of the Prophet Mohammed - maybe some of the people who wanted to kill him are the same Banksy fans who go on this forum?

I'll say it again - don't worry your Banksy prints/originals won't lose money because Dolk is becoming increasingly popular. That is what this is really all about. You might not admit it but let's just all be honest here.

I won't post again on this thread as I'm starting to lose some respect for a couple of people. I'll see some of you in other threads when things have calmed down a bit.
