They will cover their rears and the officer at fault will keep his job and just end up as jailer, with no charges.
I hope the family in Missouri can get a little closure.

Sort of what the British did in Kenya in the 50's and what went on in South Africa during apartheid.
Whether it's a mini version of that mentality going on across different cities and communities in the USA.
Is it a policy adopted by some local police chiefs?

105 police officers were killed in the line of duty in America last year. This year 64 so far and 27 of those were shot. These don't even count those wounded.
Not every black kid is a criminal. Not every black kid killed by police is innocent. And as much is it pains me to say not every police officer is an asshole.
If your gonna start this kind of discussion on a art forum why not try a more intelligent thread title. It might inspire a more intelligent discussion.

The war on drugs and terror industry sees billions of dollars of military equipment bought from federal government and related corporations by state and local police departments every year with tax payers money, someone's gettng rich whilst the local beat cop is being steadily replaced by warrior cop SWAT teams armed to the teeth.
Without a major shift in economic theory, America is on a one way trip to hell. The steady rise of gated communities with armed guards and a completely militarized Police force whilst prosecuting people for living "Off Grid" should offer a clue. Major civil unrest is right around the corner if the powers that be don't stamp it out immediately with extreme prejudice. Aggressive paramilitarism against local populations will become a regular event I'm sure. Closing off Ferguson to all traffic, media and shutting down the airspace above it is pretty insane if you ask me. Do we need anymore evidence ?
