The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on May 29, 2016 16:03:13 GMT 1,
It won't stop the French.
I saw a while back some French designer won an award for a chair design.
It was an exact copy of an early design and where the original had rivets, the new design had welds and no rivets.
It won't stop the chinese either and it won't stop millions of pounds worth of furniture etc being stolen in EU hq by staff and contractors and it wont stop importers into the UK avoiding paying vat by registering four businesses from the same address all under the vat threshold all doing the same business.
Plus it won't stop those damn cold calls every day and cold calls from scammers too.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on May 31, 2016 10:25:20 GMT 1, I thought the Vote Leave banner was another urban art gallery or print release. I guess it's freedom of speech. We get lots of EU flags on websites and pro EU taxpayer funded propaganda at sporting events schools government buildings etc etc. Pro EU booklets in different languages handed out free at music and other events. People can click on the banner or not just a speople can click on pro EU banners. The way I see it, most people have made up their minds anyway.
In or out, shake it all about. Brexit exit, i'm a twit, you're a twit. We need it we don't need it.
It's all a scam anyway. The EU headquarters and the staff and MEP's is like a modern version of Louis X1V chateau with princes and barons court jesters kings and queens enjoying huge banquets, free travel, money for nothing taken from the poor taxpayers sucking up to the drunk king Juncker playing political chess with people and borders creating a mess that is ruining europe and peoples lives. Ignoring the peasants because it's not their land or country, the peasants are a nuisance who demand equal rights to the political parasitical hoi poloi.
If the UK does leave the EU. The billions that have been paid into the EU will be written off and no chance of being recovered. If the UK stays in the EU, then one day a politician with integrity will expose the fraud and lies and not spout one thing against the EU whilst taking the MEP salary and perks like some in the Brexit camp who are lining their pockets with this faux protest which ignores immigration from the former colonies and non EU countries while targeting some EU countries and ignoring other EU countries who have conspired with the EU to rake in billions in subsidies to support a certain agenda.
The illegal immigrants who arrived in Kent at night courtesy of criminal people trafficking gangsters. From Albania and Iran and Vietnam are not seeking asylum and are not refugees and arrived at night for obvious reasons.
If the UK leaves the EU, it won't prevent illegal immigrants travelling through Europe and landing on the shores of the UK.
No border control was loved by Blair and Mandelson and the European politicians pandering to globalists ignored the obvious that it would make it easier for people smuggling, criminals movement across borders, and other nefarious things. Plus of course they saved money by not having to employ border control customs people etc.
Stay in and elect politicians who are not Bilderberg panderers to the EU money and free gigs and perks who tell Merkel and Hollande where to stick it and expose JUncker for the failed politician he is. Plus stop political failures moving from one high paid gig to another in the EU.
Have the balls to remove illegal immigrants from the UK as soon as they arrive and demand the full amount that the EU wastes on propaganda and theft and waste deducted from the UK contributions. Do that and other EU countries will follow. Or leave the EU write off hundreds of billions, accept more migrants from former colonies, pander to Saudi money and other countries out of desperation to keep the city boys in white shoes and still import German made buses and give contracts to build ships to China or whatever european country offers the best perks.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on May 31, 2016 18:51:01 GMT 1, Michael Gove was saying electricity prices will come down if the UK leaves the EU. Does that mean the French electricity company EDF will be prevented from operating in the UK. Also French owned water and other utilities in the UK?

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on May 31, 2016 19:29:15 GMT 1, As the EU referendum debate enters its hideous final stages, both sides of the Tory party are furiously branding each other liars, while the rest of the country thinks, โYes, that seems reasonable to me.โ Ken Clarke has claimed that in the event of Brexit, Cameron would be out of No 10 in 30 seconds. Probably even quicker if you said the ghost of his dead dad was on the doorstep with a sack of used euros.
Frankie Boyle, brilliant as ever.

Swedish car instead of British. So much for backing british jobs and exports.
German wife means he will get all the benefits of the EU such as being able to live and work anywhere in EU without needing a visa or work permit.
Plus he has a very nice EU pension as he was an MEP.

Some have said that this is because of the recent migration figures. Matt Singh, of number cruncher, on radio 4's PM a little while ago said beware of sudden swings. Public opinion usually swings slowly. The recent polls could be swayed just by the fact that they were conducted over the bank hol weekend when many people are away. He said the same thing happened before the general election at the Easter bank holiday.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on Jun 2, 2016 11:51:31 GMT 1, Cutting their nose off to spite their face. We are a stubborn population, probably as a result of being an island nation. But i am keen to hear from all those that want out, what it is that the EU has imposed on the UK that makes you want to vote out? Bloody working time regulations for a start! Forcing employers to give employees minimum amounts of paid holiday, daily and weekly rest breaks etc! Liberty! And don't get me started on the Equal Treatment Directive!! We had paid holidays and workers rights and rest breaks before the EU.

Not everyone did. And many had much less holiday than they do now. Holidays were a matter of contrast between employer and employee. Hence entitlements very much depended on the employer and employee's respective bargaining positions.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on Jun 2, 2016 12:26:36 GMT 1, Everyone had holidays that I know, before the EU. 4 weeks paid a year to coincide with school holidays etc. I'm talking about people who worked in factories etc etc. Not corner shops who employed their children and paid them 0 and opened 7 days a week.
Today there is a lot of slavery and exploitation or so it seems. Plus the cost of living has massively increased, house prices and utility bills.
One thing the French labour law protests have shown us is that the people can overthrow the system and hopefully one day they will get together and just take the billions off the mega rich and bankers.
Plus Glastonbury was free !!!!

That may apply to everyone you know Ploppi but I'm afraid you are not right. The WTR extended the right to paid holiday to all "workers" which has a much broader definition in law than "employee". There are huge numbers of workers who benefited from the regulations. Before the regulations there were also many employees who did not get the amount of paid leave that they now get. Before the regs it was a matter of agreement between the parties to the contract of employment, and often this meant the employee accepting what was on offer.

Who for example?
I've done all sorts of jobs and done 100 hour weeks. I always got paid for my hours and also remember when one could walk out of one job on friday and into another job on monday. Now although we have workers rights etc. The money that someone earns gets taken away in vat, taxes, high rent and other things.

I cant see the need to make your point in a sarcastic way. Let's try to keep the discussion amiable.
Of course experts get things wrong. There is no certainty in making predictions. The same thing could be said for the millennium bug. But it doesn't mean that experts views should therefore be disregarded altogether in my opinion.
It is clear that both you and I silky are entrenched in our respective positions. That's fine. That's democracy.
