YouGov are the only one of the large pollsters to show the Tories in front, in any poll they have carried out, since October. Survation (the genuinely reliable outfit), ComRes, BMG, Kantar have all had Labour infront.

Brexit, by Deleted on Jan 18, 2019 11:08:55 GMT 1, Highly respected by who? You mean the one set up by our current Health Secretary Tory MP Matt Hancock's brother? LINKOr founded (and funded from his offshore account) by Tory MP Nadim Zahawi LINK These are simply ad hominem attacks. There is no reason why a highly respected company can not be instigated by someone you disapprove of.

"ad hominem attacks" *it means an argument or reaction directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining...name calling just for those of us that use plain English! Erm sorry but its actually illegal as all MP's are required BY LAW to declare ANY involvement in companies/business's they have shares or a direct link to so as they can't use their influence to award public money and use their power favorably to line their own pockets at the expense of the public purse. Its just the law innit. The reason this country is in this 'Eton mess' is that we still have an 'elite ruling class' that believe they are above the law and continue to flaunt it at every given opportunity. They are in effect criminals. Anyway nice to see your mate Cameron doing so well for himself in the wake of the total disaster he has caused and quel surprise its linked to a 750 million quid 'investment' fund in... wait for it, China. No deal anyone? What's Cameron really doing now?

It's an argument, often referred to as a logical fallacy, which people (like yourself) use to discredit something without providing any reasoned argument for doing so. It's the oldest trick in the book. Let's face it. You disapprove of anybody who is (a) rich and (b) not a socialist. I don't know why I waste my time replying to your posts. Incidentally, if you hold a stocks and shares ISA then there's a good chance that you also invest in.."wait for it, China". Although why you think it is such a crime to invest in China I have absolutely no idea.

Brexit, by Chris JL on Jan 18, 2019 23:23:25 GMT 1, I stumbled on the very first post of this thread. Back then I found it ludicrous, while now instead I find it dramatic in its naïveté (a testament to how easily utter BS is sold to people).
With article 50 starting before the end of this month, how long do you think the process will take? I feel it's gonna be much faster then the set two years. I would say less than a year, and I wonder if even within 6 month is possible. What do you think?
I guess that great trade deals with Pluto will follow soon - shortly after the manna from the sky, and the sun rising on the west.
PS Daniel Silk: nothing personal, nor offence meant. Just a very very sad find.

I do not disapprove of rich people although I strongly object to offshore accounts and blind trust investments particularly when they are being used by MP's and Prime Ministers, paid from the public purse, to avoid paying their tax. Its also a bit rich of you to assume I'm not rich! China is recognized as having one of the worst records on human rights violations in the world. Forgive me for not providing proof maybe just check out Amnesty International. Have a nice weekend and yeah I probably am a bit of a socialist...and I shop at the CO-OP

Brexit, by moron on Jan 19, 2019 14:17:41 GMT 1, The good news is that Corbyn has blown any chance of ever being elected Prime Minister.
If there was an election today, he would have far fewer votes than he had in the last election giving the Tories a clear majority.
One reason is that he clearly lied regarding student loans to get votes from students and young people and now they know that.
The other reason is that he was very vague during the pre Brexit referendum debates as to him being for or against Brexit. Which gave him votes from Labour voters who were against Brexit.
Now today Labour voters know he is pro Brexit and in a new election, why would Labour voters vote for Corbyn who are against Brexit.
They also know that he is a snake who has surrounded himself with a marxist clique more like some sort of socialist cult and he is out of touch with reality.
Can anyone image him and his cult running the country.
Diane Abbott who said Mao did some good things should have retired a long time ago and only in her role because of her ties to Corbyn.
Corbyn takes money from the Iran regime and so much for him being against nuclear weapons yet being paid by Iran who wants to create a nuclear arsenal.
Corbyn is a liar and a hypocrite who has sat on his arse for decades and yes he joined a few marches but also kept very quiet when contacted about any serious issues going on and ignored people.
So best case scenario is no backstop Brexit, as a backstop means that part of the UK remains inside the EU with all the benefits while the rest remains outside the EU.
The simplest solution would have been to have free movement across the EU but to keep all customs and hard border passport control in every EU country.
The penny has finally dropped for Merkel and Germany that Germany is heading for recession and need the UK pound and trade export German goods to the UK plus German firms need UK contracts too. Any result of the EU beaurocrats to punish the UK with tarifs and border controls will be met with the same type of tarifs against EU firms (unless the UK PM is a complete gutless idiot)

Any result of the EU beaurocrats to punish the UK with tarifs and border controls will be met with the same type of tarifs against EU firms (unless the UK PM is a complete gutless idiot)
You ok Hun?
The good news is that Corbyn has blown any chance of ever being elected Prime Minister. Brexit, by Deleted on Jan 20, 2019 11:53:37 GMT 1, What's the point of this crowdfunder? (Serious question.) What is its aim? Is it simply an expensive way of saying, "let's all laugh at politicians' predictions that didn't come true"?
I can think of much better ways to spend my money, can't you?

I guess it's a way of bringing to the attention of the general populace, the lies and hypocrisy spread on Social Media, by those campaigning for and negotiating Brexit.
No one is making you contribute. Those that have probably see some value in it. Whether that's doing their bit to fight against Brexit or simply having a pop at the idiots at the wheel, I don't know. I can think of a lot worse ways to spend my money.

Brexit, by Deleted on Jan 20, 2019 12:11:41 GMT 1, We already know that many lies were spread in the run up to the Brexit referendum. I'm not sure what this campaign adds to it. I can't see that this makes Brexit MPs idiots or hypocrites. I also can't see how sending money to crowdfunder helps to "fight against Brexit".

Brexit, by .dappy on Jan 20, 2019 12:36:04 GMT 1, ... the informed and those that are not blinded by the rhetoric might know, but I think that it is a good way in one place to highlight the lies and hypocracy of what went on over the past two years ...

The only thing it shows is that remainers have too much money as well as too much time on their hands.
Edit: Spelling corrections thanks to daylightrobber😉
