Might come as a surprise, but smart individuals do learn from their mistakes.

Brexit, by irl1 on Oct 10, 2019 21:44:16 GMT 1, Meeting today
The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is confident that a Brexit deal can now be reached before the October deadline after meeting with Boris Johnson.
Leo Varadkar described the three-hour meeting with his British counterpart as "very positive and very promising" and a new round of negotiations will begin in Brussels tomorrow.
Speaking to reporters in Liverpool airport, Mr Varadkar said: "We agreed not to get into the details of any task or discussions.
"But on the timeline question, I think it is possible for us to come to an agreement to have a treaty agreed to allow the UK to leave the EU in orderly fashion and to have that done by the end of October.
It remains our position that there can't be a hard border between North and South.
"We must continue to have a situation whereby the all-island economy can continue to deepen and function well."

I'm interested about what is he going to do with regards a deal with the DUP for a Irish boarder after brexit. Last thing I want to see is the return of the troubles with the new IRA.

May bribed the DUP £10 Billion for their 10 votes to prop her up, I'd imagine the bidding to support Johnson starts around that figure.

Brexit, by drip on Oct 11, 2019 19:51:39 GMT 1, What's insane is we're still really only on the first couple of paragraphs of page 1 of the story of Brexit.
The real negotiating, syphoning of public money, cuts and carving up of the country is yet to come.
Still, it's all going to turn around for the poor and working class any day now.
Don't get me wrong, we're still fortunate to live in a relatively stable/safe country, but it'd be nice not to be trapped on Austerity Island for the rest of my life.
I just f*cking hate the Tories.

Brexit, by moron on Oct 12, 2019 20:07:26 GMT 1, So the UK can't get medicines pharmaceutical drugs into the UK by lorries taking normal ferries after Brexit but they let in tonnes of cocaine, heroin and other illegal drugs each year, no problem.
I presume these Ferry contracts will be for magic ferries which only allow vehicles transporting pharma drugs and medicines to and from the continent. It all looks like a big scam to me. Same as the constant over ordering N H S supplies which are unused and sold for pennies to the pound and are exported for a big profit by people with the right contacts.

Your going to rely on Bojo's half of mays deal with the details left out, and Leo's comment about a pathway to a potential deal? He was dam near to pissing his pants when he said it.
On a par with far rage claiming remain dont want another vote because leave would win it by such a large majority, as his face contorted with overwhelming bullshit guilt, as if his teeth were trying to run away from him.
If the media have managed to screw Corbyn over, the best they will get is a coalition goverment with him in majority control. Since the brexit loons have put themselves into total meltdown and lost any credability.
Bojo deal most definatly NOT coming up. You are also possibly forgetting it needs to pass parliament anyway, so the deal he wont get, couldnt pass anyway. Bojo the bullshitter just kicked mays can is all.
The clown is toast.

Farage has stood for election to the House of Commons a total of seven times.
He lost seven times.
Last time he tried he lost to a man dressed as a dolphin.

Brexit, by moron on Oct 12, 2019 21:09:06 GMT 1, So according to UK Gov, there are around two million EU citizens in the UK who have claimed settled status. I presume and will be given it or have been given it allready.
www.gov.uk/government/news/two-million-applications-to-the-eu-settlement-scheme
I assume that these people from the EU in UK will after Brexit, still be allowed to travel and work freely in all EU countries as they are EU countries passport holders.
Unlike the British people who now live in the EU and have to apply in whichever EU country they live, for a residence permit which is only applicable to that one country. So no free movement or work anywhere in Europe for Brits in EU, plus the second largest number of Brits live in Ireland and will not have the same rights as the Irish regarding working freely in EU countries.
Probably not straight away but a few years down the road I can see a huge political backlash when people in the UK who are not moneyed toffs including socialist toffs realise that Britain is not booming after Brexit.

We know the disaster of letting BOJO the clown back in, assuming he isnt in jail or something by then. Far rage is a nutter and has no chance, lib dems, are on the way to having more tory MP's than the torys and have pitched themselves against brexit whilst simultaneously increasing the chances of Bojo tryin to slip a no deal past, so no one knows what the fuck they are on/about at this stage. Greens, i wish, but er no.
Labour want to sort out the country and rebalance things, want to see what deal they CAN get and then ask the people if that is "the will of the people" now, not 3+ years ago.
Dont be so sure the result wont eventually come down to the utterly undemocratic liar, cheat and possibly fraudster that is BOJO the failed clown, or the opportunity for a better future and more control.
Still think the youth vote is going to come as a real shock to some people. Just hope it isnt me!

Brexit, by rebate on Oct 12, 2019 21:46:44 GMT 1, Stay classy, leavers. This shit is another reason an election is going to be to tough to call. This basically represents the mindset of the torys and of course far rage {probably also sponsored by both, not that i know that), who really wants to vote and say they believe in this shit, outside of the legit racist loons. The loons will be easy fired up, but surely it will put a lot more voters off than it will turn on.
Outdated, vile and unacceptable to most people these days. Horrible people boosted mainly by the loudness of their own voices.

There are more potential outcomes than there are make this yourself Blue Peter projects. Just got to hope common sense will prevail in the election. We know the disaster of letting BOJO the clown back in, assuming he isnt in jail or something by then. Far rage is a nutter and has no chance, lib dems, are on the way to having more tory MP's than the torys and have pitched themselves against brexit whilst simultaneously increasing the chances of Bojo tryin to slip a no deal past, so no one knows what the f**kthey are on/about at this stage. Fact is, people won’t vote for Corbyn. They’d vote Labour, but not with Corbyn at the helm. Like it or not, that’s the very simple fact of the matter. Really? he has my vote, so that shoots that theory down pretty quick.

Brexit, by rebate on Oct 12, 2019 22:11:11 GMT 1, Really? he has my vote, so that shoots that theory down pretty quick. I obviously meant ‘not enough’ people. It’s not a theory, it’s a fact. You, and the party, ignore that at your peril. Fact is, what you said is fiction not fact. You cant over exaggerate like that and repeat the word fact, and expect to get away with it.
Well, i guess maybe you can, but lets not go there.
Im happy to ignore it, just noise to me, like the media noise. I have more faith in the electorate than the bullshit they are feed incessantly.
