You need a past state to be able to define the next state. Parliament will have to vote on it. The debate will be interesting seeing as the 'deal' appears to be pretty much identical to one Johnson and the ERG all voted against previously, and one which the DUP simply can't back.

Bojo has been brown nosing round the EU member states, allegedly asking them to say they would reject an extension. None have done so, and its been said by the EU an extension for good reason is acceptable.

For a man that doesnt want an extension from the EU, to the point of dying in a ditch, its weird that he is on his second EU granted extension of the day already. I wonder if after 4pm he will have a hatrick of extensions in the one day.
