Brexit, by ferg on Oct 16, 2019 14:34:54 GMT 1, I voted to stay in the EU but when Remain lost I accepted the democratic opinion of my fellow Britons(so definitely no 2nd referendum) and therefore would prefer to leave the EU with a deal that satisfies both parties. The EU have tried to make an example of the UK to stop others following suit by offering a poor deal but they should remember that we have been a net provider for years unlike the majority of EU countries and that Britain outside the EU would be a big supporter of NATO(were currently the only European country who pays the right amount along with the Americans) and Europe’s biggest customer. So give us a decent deal that we deserve.

Did you swallow the Daily Mail?
The EU have not tried to make an example of us. They're negotiating from a position of strength, which comes from being part of a Union. They're protecting their interests, as you'd fully expect them to.
In regards to the UK being a net provider, are you including the finances generated in the private sector which come as a direct result of being a member?
And what is the right amount of NATO contributions? My understanding is that the target 2% of GDP has a date of 2024. Might be wrong.

Brexit, by rebate on Oct 17, 2019 13:12:13 GMT 1, EU and UK agreed a deal.
Binned the backstop though, little bit important.
Majority = -45, DUP are OUT, ERG will probably abstain or vote against in line with DUP per their own plan. Labour voting against also.

Brexit, by Deleted on Oct 17, 2019 13:35:11 GMT 1, I just can’t wait to be £2,250** worse off every year* once we’ve left the EU I’m thrilled that the last three years have cost 2.9 percent of GDP, or put more simply about £69 billion less in output of goods and services, amounting rather neatly to about £1,000 for every man, woman and child in the British population. I’m so looking forward to the longer term losses that will pile up over the years and decades until the much-vaunted trade deals with America, China, India and others start to make up for the loss of sales in Europe. I can barely control my excitement at losing the security, peace, solidarity and cultural benefits the EU bestows on its citizens. Get brexit done. *Source: HM Treasury. **This same figure applies to every single person, whether they earn £10,000 or £100,000 a year.
Yeah it's good huh
I cant see a downside at all

Ok!!!
Is that because Junker said so? It's not his shout. Like all big decisions in the EU it's down to the Member States in the form of the Council.

Brexit, by rebate on Oct 17, 2019 17:17:39 GMT 1, Johnson is desperate for MP’s to believe that if they reject his deal, it’s a no deal Brexit. While he’ll struggle with that, I fear that some of those confident that the optimal number of legs is two are in danger of being so spooked by the madness of people calling for a no legs brexit are close to believing that one leg is better than none while forgetting that keeping two remains the best option. Boris isnt desperate for anything he is doing exactly what he said he would do so stop talking sh*t boy Bojo is just talking crap, same as when he said the Benn Act could be circumvented. He thinks he can confuse people who are WAY WAY smarter than he is. Bojo is a mug, and he expects others to be the same. Its clear as day he cant pass it, the only reason its gone through is that Bojo told Junker he was 100% that he coud get it through parliament. Which is total bullshit as ever, and now Junker is already preping for a massive climb down on that "this deal or no deal"s**t. Although what Junker actually said was "we have a deal here, there "should" be no need for an extension".

How'd this last prediction of yours from two and a half years ago work out then Daniel?
With article 50 starting before the end of this month, how long do you think the process will take? I feel it's gonna be much faster then the set two years. I would say less than a year, and I wonder if even within 6 month is possible.

My god you lot are beyond ridiculous. We got where in the end? The deal has to get through parliament which is very unlikely. If it doesn't your clown king will have to request an extension. We'll get one.
If God forbid the deal passes we will just be starting the process. And this was the easy bit. Still you will have got your Brexit without once giving an answer to what benefit will it be to you?

Some people can't say they got it wrong when they know they have fucked up. It's not your fault that You got it so wrong, there were some very clever manipulators telling you what to do and what to believe.
in the news earlier they were saying that in my little area they were short of 600 nurses, 2 reasons, reason one the Tories cut funding for the training of nurses, reason 2 Brexit, european nurses don't feel welcome.
So to combat this this we have been on a recruitment drive in India to get a few 100 trained Indian nurses to work here
Make sense? Does it really? You voted for it? why?
Got where, warchet , where? You’re just spouting yet more fatuous blaming without explanation like some sloganed-up human double decker bus. Again, what is it you want from brexit? What is it you’ve ‘won’? Dont worry your little pea brain about what I am going to get out of it and what I will win as you put it, I suggest you get your own house in order Some people can't say they got it wrong when they know they have fucked up. Brexit, by dogstar on Oct 18, 2019 17:07:18 GMT 1, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab (the imbecile who was formerly Brexit Secretary when he incredulously said “I hadn’t quite understood the full extent of this, but if you look at the UK and look at how we trade in goods, we are particularly reliant on the Dover-Calais crossing.") said today that Northern Ireland’s part in the Brexit deal is a positive because: “They will remain in the UK but also have equal access to the Single Market.”
So exactly like what the rest of the UK has (but won't, post-brexit) while currently in the EU, you painfully ludicrous bellpipe.
